  • we own are victory in WWII to the women building the bombs at home and the boys using them overseas.

Shows the strength and courage of the American people.

  • #brainwashed

  • How can government give me something without first taking it from me?

  • Couldn't agree with your comments more at the end of your video. Guess there has to be a war on for women to receive equal rights. Hang on, there is a war going on at the moment, isn't there???

  • @1:17 I like the way he says "day-care" as two words, like it's some newfangled concept.

  • @funkmike - it was a new idea at the time, in 1943, especially being provided by the employer. Few employers today offer free daycare as a benefit for their workers.

  • wow providing day care.i have to be paying my bby sitter $200 weekly half my check XD

  • Like a lot of other people i am doing a project on women in WWII, how can i download or copy this link?

  • What ever happened to those days... those days when everyone knew his duty and responsibility for the security and well being of his family, neighbors, frineds, community and lastly but not leastly, their country? I pray those days return. Will you join me in my prayre?

  • .,..and the Germans said that American women were too dainty for wartime factory work. Shows how much they know!

Women helped us win the war!

  • Hey, the narrator in the film said something kind of cool. He said, "Woman can do anything men can do, and sometimes do it better." Wow. That's progress. XD

  • This clip is from the US government film, Manpower, and you can download the entire film at the Internet Archive in the web. Good luck with your project.
