Couldn't agree with your comments more at the end of your video. Guess there has to be a war on for women to receive equal rights. Hang on, there is a war going on at the moment, isn't there???
@funkmike - it was a new idea at the time, in 1943, especially being provided by the employer. Few employers today offer free daycare as a benefit for their workers.
What ever happened to those days... those days when everyone knew his duty and responsibility for the security and well being of his family, neighbors, frineds, community and lastly but not leastly, their country? I pray those days return. Will you join me in my prayre?
Hey, the narrator in the film said something kind of cool. He said, "Woman can do anything men can do, and sometimes do it better." Wow. That's progress. XD
This clip is from the US government film, Manpower, and you can download the entire film at the Internet Archive in the web. Good luck with your project.
I am doing a history project on women during the WW2 and would like to use this video, is there any chance you could possibly send it to me? It would be very helpful.
well at least more places do pay each gender equally how effing stupid. Im a women i would'nt take that crap for a second, stop being nice dont let fagots put you down. women you can be just as good as a man at anything and better. forget about the women hating fagots, and just say effing enough. eww disqusting I had no idea. all these fagots need is ass kicken. tip women learn how to fight, and remember there are more good men, so dont hate

I too am doing a project for school, Ethnic Studies, and my presentation is on Women of WWII. I tried to use the directions to copy the video onto my desktop and it won't work. Is there any way you might be willing to email it to me so I may use it on my Power Point? thank you so much. By the way, great job on the video.
we own are victory in WWII to the women building the bombs at home and the boys using them overseas.

@1:17 I like the way he says "day-care" as two words, like it's some newfangled concept.
