@Bushman1821 I'm not trying to hate but to be honest the video is meant to be based on the game and the three glowing lights are iconic to the game (its meant to add affect). Also Sams pistol didnt have a suppressor but was still silent (I know it didnt have a compensator either :P). Thirdly his knife in Chaos theory was silver. Its not meant to be realistic but follow the game. Just to clarify im not tryna hate on your comment :)

That was great! I really like how you started with the "47 minutes from now" thing. The whole film fits together really well. If I have any constructive criticisms, it's that Danny doesn't seem to have much purpose until the end, and if you're trying to recreate the game's character, it's spelt "Kobin". Either way, the cuts, lighting, grading and camerawork is all very, very professional. Great work! I'll be sharing this around.

Well, these green glowing dots were actually used as orientation spots so that the player can see himself, when everything on the screen is just black in black.

And then they were kept as a trademark...

Just my 2 cents to the goggles...

In the game I think these "flashlights" on fisher's head are infrared emitting night vision goggles which is why the light gets picked up by the "camera" but not by human eye... But I too am pretty sure that in this video he's carrying flashlights... But for the viewer it does not make any difference...

For a low budget fan film this is pretty good. Love the comment below from Krathor. Obviously someone who doesn't understand the difficulties making a film. Where were the fire and explosions. HA. You should have seen the short film my friends just made. The spaces ship was the Beatles yellow submarine held up by hand in front of a black piece of paper. The explosions were cigerette lighter sparks - again held up by hand. Mint.

I Dislike this fan made film because they are taking the piss out of one of the best game franchises i've ever experienced, for christ sake, one the bloke who plays him looks fuck all like Sam Fisher (yet alone sounds like him) Two the filming and movements are poor and basic, it needs more stealth, more grit, and darkness, aswell as some fire and explosions, Hollywood style!.... more suspense and action too... he didnt even shoot any lights out or have cool gadgets, Verdict: SHITE!

Good for a fan made thing, but problems that bothered me:

1. 3 big glowing green lights. really? a covert agent with three green flashlights on his head?

2. the thing on the end of his gun is a compensator, not a suppressor. the gun would be just as loud except recoil less, and they are using it as a suppressor.

3. when he pulls out his knife, there is no way it would be silver like it is, it would be matte black, so as not to reflect light and attract attention.

just my 2 cents.

And other thing is that the lights indicates that they are the night-vision goggles. Of course it may look like stupid, but this is my opinion.

What made Splinter Cell awesome was the Tom Clancy realism. Sam Fisher goes in and out like a modern ninja - with minimum flare., No moves just for the sake of style, no useless killing, etc.

Conviction was something unoriginal - which means by following it you seem to be making a 24/Nikita series/Jason Bourne clone.

Still awesome although =D
