I have a 76 and a 60 in mint, boxed storage...I pick them up from time to time use them as gifts to introduce friends and/or their children to the hobby. They are a fine little engine that can be had quite cheaply off eBay...lots of them out there.
Virtually all were factory made...Jensen, Mamod and Wilesco are still in business.
The only engine you see on the video tour that represents a lot of construction on my part is the Jensen 51 replica. Only 27 were ever made, so I made the 28th!!

Oh, there are a few of the riveted type I do not have such as a Jensen 50 and I've chosen to not collect Jensen's hobby line.
I prefer the older, collector types with the cast iron engine frames mounted to wood.

How much did it cost to build that Jensen flagship 51 with the water tower? Thats a great model.

Wow this is superb collection!
I am not an expert in this field, sorry for the naive question,
Did you buy the engine kits or built the engines (from plans) ??

I love that replica Jensen 51, and that new Fleishmann is rather lovely, too. Also, can't beat the Stuarts :-)

I did have a Steamco, but sold it on...I gotta love 'em or I sell 'em. Steamco's are nice engines though, just not my thing.

I thought you had a Steamco 01?
