@ryn04896 El Mi35 es la última versión del Mi24 que derribaba Cobras tan fácilmente durante la guerra Iran-Iraq. Eso que dices de los misiles no tiene sentido, cualquier misil es un problema para cualquier helicóptero artillado del mundo, que solo llevan blindaje antibalas. El problema con Venezuela es que se está gastando fortunas en armamento de última genreación, que no le servirá de nada contra EEUU por simple cantidad (tiene pocos), solo le son útiles contra sus vecinos. Saludos.

@Antarticify Hola. Lo digo ya que durante la gerra de medio oriente con Russia EU no encontraba cómo derribarlos por el blindaje tan sólido que posee el Mi. Es luego que le envía por vía clandestina a los árabes dicha tecnología con la que lograron comenzar a derribarlos. Si es la versión Mi 35, ha realizado una buena inversión. Pero con F-16, mejor compraría SU-37 Cobras. Eso sí que haría a EU pensarlo un poco más para meterse. :D

@ryn04896 Te refieres a los Stingers con los que USA equipó a los talibanes (y hoy se arrepiente). No existe helicóptero que no tenga problemas con los misiles, por su velocidad y sus firmas radar e infrarrojas. El problema es que todo lo que compre Chavez, no le servirá en un conflicto contra USA, ya que USA fabrica su propio armamento, mientras que Chavez tiene muy poco. Por eso todo este armamento, paradógicamente solo le sería efectivo contra sus 'hermanos' bolivarianos, nada más.

therefore, this still remains the ONLY attack helicopter capable of close air support AND carrying troops.

It is not just bad looking, it is bad. We were afraid of it the most outta the whole Russian arsenal while Stationed in Germany during the coldwar. You cannot shoot it down from ground troops unless you got a very lucky hit with a law. Even a stinger missle has problms getting it down

Quite a beast of a helicopter, very capable but due to its multi-mission oriented, it is too heavy to maneuver and as a result, succumbing to Stinger heat seeking portable missile. The Hokum K50 is more capable. I like the music.

this concept with rear rotor blade makes Helicopter less manouverable, and it is obsolete. Modern military Helicoptters should have counter rotating blades, and avoid tail rotor blade.
