  • I think I'm missing the stainless "slip connector" shown at 5:02 in my home. I have single wall pipe going up to the ceiling, then a black 14" long slip connector installed upside down going INSIDE the double wall pipe!? It's been this way for years. I just noticed it when I had to replace a piece of the single wall. Am I just missing the stainless adapter? Thanks!

  • Extremely informative! Thank You!

  • There are specific parts for each aspect of installation. We do have diagrams with parts lists on our web site under CHIMNEY PIPE at WoodHeatStoves . com You can also email us there thru "contact us" link and we will be glad to give you all the information you need.

  • What do I use to install it through the wall? Can I used a double wall stainless "t" piece?

  • We don't recommend sealant pipe for stove pipe and it is not recommended by any pipe manufacturers. The joints seal adequately right out of the box.

Thanks for the compliments. After over 30 years of helping customers understand the details of their stove and chimneys it is fantastic to now reach out so effectively to thousands. We're thrilled that our previous chimney video has had over 20,000 viewings in the last year so we added this one. email us at info at woodheatstovesdotcom
