  • I actually do wonder if he still struggle with SSA, same sex attraction. If he does, depending on how deep rooted, maybe marriage was not a wise decision.

  • @Atlavocat i doubt your honesty. in french and english? the greek word in 1 corinthians 6 is malakos.

also how do you explain romans 1:27?

  • God loves homosexuals just as much as he loves straight people. God just doesn't support the act of homosexuality since it is a sin. All sins are equal from lying to even killing, but God does not love us any less. I am a Christian, and I am ashamed of how Christians portray that 'God doesn't love homosexuals' It really hurts my heart. We all have sinned, and will continue to sin, but that's why Jesus Christ died for us. <3

  • Thank you so much for posting this up. Beautiful, inspirational.

  • OK not all gay people are prostitutes, drug attics or Alcoholics Organized Religions are just as bad as as attics and Gay people are not the problem being trans gender is not abnormal. Whats abnormal is religion calling homosexuality and transgenders the devils work.

  • God is good.

  • Awesome Powerful Testimony!! Praise YAHWEH ELOHIM!!

  • hi

can any of you help me?

  • People have told me that i walk, talk, and act gay since i was in elementary school. How can i walk, talk and act straight? I really want to do it but would any of you guide me towards the right path?

  • Hello elcorazondemelao,

send me a private message. It's not in your own efforts to change. God gives you a new heart.

  • @elcorazondemelao

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being gay. Don't listen to people who want you to hate yourself because you are gay. I was in your situation. The only way to true happiness is being yourself.

  • @philip0460 no the truty is that the only way to true wholeness of happiness is when you completely surrender and give your life to Jesus Christ...and then follow him.

  • @elcorazondemelao Hey there, Let the Lord lead you the way. I don't wanna sound like a clihé but only God sees your heart. As we all get a closer relationship with Christ He leads us. Don't feel afraid. God knows all of our struggles and still loves us anyways. You are blessed. ;-)

  • This is an incredible story...

  • gospel singer here

  • That happens when people ask God for forgiveness and His steadfast is endless with all of us, His creation. He won't let devil control our life if we claim to Him he will expell it from your soul, God Blessed us with this testimony, as we get closer to Him we restore the human he created. We cannot change things without the power of God or with science and therapy, only God will do it.

  • I don't know which is worse, the depraved disillusionment of superstitious christianity, or the desperate manner that this poor person lived.

  • Powerful!

  • i have a question. if a gay guy gets a sex change, then finds jesus, do they have to change back?

  • if the person was truly born again, they would WANT to change back because that's previous gender is the way God created him or her.

  • What if they are reborn again but that is the body that they have changed to and are proud of do they have to change? and also when they die will god banish them to hell for love cause i thought god wanted us all to love him and love another person who loves us?

  • God is an awesome God and He can do anything! This is an amazing testimony to people who are struggling with homosexuality.

I can do everything through Him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13)

  • let me ask u sumthing, if the world is so evil now, drugs, violence, homosexuality, adultery, satanism, etc, why dusnt he jus send another flood?? no answer? yeh thats wat i thought :)

  • The answer is in the Book you obviously havent read, the Bible says how God promised he would never flood the world again, and that the next coming would be the last coming of Christ. And it says he awaits so long, so that all have a chance to come to Christ before they end up in hell.

  • next time it will be fire..not water.. isiah4

  • Giving a drug addict drugs will make him happy for a moment but are you helping by giving him what makes him happy at the cost of his life?

are you making homosexuals happy at the cost of building a greater wall between them and Christ, which might cost them their eternal life?

You are Christian so should know better. The more we accomadate sin for those who don't know Christ the more you hurt them.

  • @dard1313 I'm happier now than when i was Christian, I dont understand why ppl think that gay ppl are unhappy.

  • This makes me wanna cry. God Is AWESOME!

  • Isn't God good. God bless.

  • I really like this video it's very moving. It's sad and it's happy and it's hopeful, that someone can find peace and happiness and love after living such a depraved life for so long. I like the way you've handled many of the comments. 1Cor2two you give good witness and testimony. Blessings!

  • AMEN!AMEN!AMEN!

  • Do you believe in the rule of law?

Or do you want the Constitution to be a living document and change it whenever you "feel" it needs to be changed to suit your desires? Don't you understand that it's a very slippery slope with that way of thinking?

  • Constitution does need to be changed whenever SOCIETY as a whole claims for it. Things change and history proves that. Yours are kind slippery because it supposes that the world is a static system, which is definitely not. Christians may believe in their black-and-white manichaeist world, that often times lead you to that same old "out of context" misreading of a infamous metaphoric book. But the world is not a battle of zero and ones. Never have been.

  • this is where we disagree then. I believe in Absolute Truth. you believe in relativism. My foundation is the WOrd of God. Yours? I'm not sure. I guess it's feelings or whatever "society" feels at a given time.

  • @1Cor2two This is not an attack. I ask you this. What if your savior/religion was a lie??? That you wasted your one life on???

To a rational person you and a suicide bomber are one in the same. You both believe without a doubt that your view on God is right. No doubt.

Why would one accept a God that restricts love??? Such as a gay couple??? Their human too. It shouldn't matter. What should matter is being a good person for the sake of it. Not for the selfish reason of going to heaven.

  • @JDSproducitons

What we believe is what we believe. Just because we don't think it's right, doesn't mean we are going to attack you. We are to love our neighbours, even if they're Gay, or have any other views on life, of course we believe our view on God is right, what about you? do you believe that yours is right? it's called faith. My main point im trying to say is, as a Christian I would NEVER treat a Gay person with any lesser value. That is wrong.. but it is still not in my morals.

  • look how angry people get just because someone tells their testimony about being freed from sin.

  • Congrats on Ricardo's happiness. The problem though is that many so called Christians are using his story as the model for other gays in the name of Christ. Very dangerous! Very unScriptural! What if Paul used his singleness, the "better course", as he states, as the model for others, especially couples who either can't or choose not to procreate. Imagine the pain if Pau'ls example was used as a model for those individuals. The only model. U wouldn't like it now would u?

  • It is very biblical to turn from sin. RIcardo did that. How is that dangerous to follow his steps in one being a homosexual and powefully delivered from the bondage of sin?

  • 1cor2two your bigoted view of homosexuality is incredibly arcane and ignorant. This person was living a very sad life in that he was hopeless and dependent on a form of prostitution for making a living. That is a very sad situation. There are many gay people who are living in committed monogamous marriages who love one another, live Christlike lives, and serve others and help in their communities. That is vastly different from a prostitute who is spiritually and emotionally depressed.

  • Praise God!! I also was saved in my sin and was born again 6 years ago from homosexuality. Ricardo's testimony is powerful. Evidence of a transformed life, not only from homosexuality, but from transgender and drug addiction!!! All things are possible in Christ Jesus!

  • The Apostle Paul wrote it, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

  • 1Cor2two - there has always been homosexuality, there will always be homosexuality. It is natural and normal. People in Biblical times assumed that all men engaged in homosexual acts while young. They did not condemn it, they thought that everyone outgrew it. But we know now that most people don't. Only those looking for sin will find it - usually in their own heart. Only those who delight in damning others will be damned themselves. That is the message of Jesus Christ.

  • it is natural for the person who rejects God. That's partly what Romans chapter 1 is about. Man left to himself because depraved and wicked.

  • Exodus 21:20 "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21 but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.

Great book you've got there. I personally wouldn't base major life decisions on a book that condones slavery and slave-beating.

  • have you studied what slavery was like back then? people used to sell themselves into slavery. It was more or less giving yourself to someone to be their servant. By the way, you do realize it was Christians that led the freedom of the slaves right?

  • Leviticus 25:44 " 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.

And as for Christians freeing slaves that's not true. The truth is some Christians used the Bible to claim they were entitled to slaves while others used it to claim slavery was immoral and free them. What a confusing Bible.

  • Once again that is talking about bond servants. People who sold themselves into being servants and they in turn being sold to someone else. and yes it can be confusing if you take scriptures out of their proper context. Even Satan himself tried to use the scriptures out of their context. What you are doing is nothing new.

  • Where are you getting that because that is absolutely not what the scripture says?

  • did you know involuntary slavery is against God's law: Exodus 21:16 says: He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death. Deuteronomy 24:7 states: If a man is caught kidnapping any of his countrymen of the sons of Israel, and he deals with him violently, or sells him, then that thief shall die; so you shall purge the evil from among you.

  • Wrong. Most slavery was involuntary. People could purchase slaves from neighboring nations and they certainly didn't volunteer to be slaves in most cases. Additionally the verse you quote is actually talking about kidnapping Israelites only. Anyone else was free game to take and make a slave of.

  • I'm talking about biblical times. are you?

  • The Sodomites indeed rejected the warning given them by Lot; but rejecting the gospel is a more heinous crime, and will be punished accordingly in that day.

  • Sodom was KNOWN for her abominable acts such as homosexuality. In verse 49, it does not say those 3 things were her only sin. It basically says the same as what Paul wrote(in ROmans ch.1) that pride lead to the other sins.

  • The Bible does not say anything about Sodom and homosexuality.

  • Sodomites. We don't need to go into detail here but most adults understand what Sodomy is.

  • Apparently they DO change. Did you view the video above?

  • it's on moderation because people post wicked things and solicit there ads on public forums like this.

  • what do you think a sodomite is?

  • "Sodomy" is not a synonym for homosexual sex, nor does the word encapsulate homosexuality as an orientation. Also note that all references to sodomy imply nothing about relations between two women.

Translations for "arsenokoitēs" range from male prostitute, to those who engage in sex with them, to those who engage in homosexual slave trade. Nothing about this scriptural passage condemns any specific sexual orientation.

  • Romans 1:26 includes women.

  • Once again, Romans 1:21-32 does not vilify a sexual orientation. Starting from Romans 1:21, Paul chastises Christians who fall into pagan worship, and whose rituals whip them into a cult frenzy, including ritual sex acts/orgies. These types of rituals existed in the Roman culture that Paul lived in. Again, Romans 1:21-32 does not comment on nor critique any sexual orientation in and of itself.

  • The broader context of Romans 1:18-32 condemns idolatry and pagan rituals. Interestingly, in the next chapter, Paul also condemns those who focus on the immorality they see in others when they should be seeking God's grace and love for themselves.

In 1 Corinthians 11:5-6, Paul decrees that women should not cut their hair or pray with her hair "unveiled," and yet as a culture we have moved into a more mature and richer understanding of what the Bible truly declares right and what it does not.

  • that chapter basically is explaining the outcome of one who has rejected the Truth. look at our society today and how can you deny it? They worship 'mother earth' (creation) rather than the Creator. So God gave them over to their lusts of their heart. "vile passions", etc. So are you are saying although he called it "vile" he is okay with it?

  • 1Cor2two - But, as any honest person knows, was not condemning homosexual acts in his Letter to the Romans, he was condemning those who abandoned Christianity. Only Pharisee like you fail to see the difference.

  • calling it a unnatural, shameful, and vile act is not necessarily a compliment. What Paul was saying is that those who suppress the Truth, God will turn them over to deprave acts including homosexuality.

  • Men who lay with men and have sexual relations with them have unnatural relations and wrongful desires. They have been compromised and are not considering pleasing God. If a man's object of sexual desire is another man that man has a spiritual problem and a psychological problem and is perhaps possessed and influenced by a female spirit. He seeks a male partner because of the spiritual overshadowing of a female spirit. Your desires do not make you homosexual your actiions do.

  • A person has the right to can change their sexual orientation if they want to.

  • no one is debating that. The question is whether it is sinful or not. The bible calls it sin and it seperates man from a Holy God.

  • Is that so? I heard someone else say that bible doesn't say its sinful. I did hear that the bible is interpreted differently to fit someone's ideas.

  • 1Cor2two - the Bible does not call homosexuality a sin. But Jesus Christ called your kind of bigotry a sin and condemned you to Hell.

  • read 1 Cor 6:9 and the closing verses of Romans Chapter 1.

  • 1Cor2two - Only a few Bible translations falsely translate "arsenokoites" as homosexuality, no other Greek writer of the time used it in that fashion. Paul was clearly referring to male prostitutes - who were some of his followers.

  • If you read matt. 19, and 1 cor 7, the only two options are marriage and celibacy. Homosexuality when mentioned is ALWAYS condemned. In romans 1:27, the act is described as "shameful", "unnatural", "unseemly", "vile", etc. How do you get around that fact?

  • 1Cor2two - The word "homosexuality" did not appear in any Bible translations until recently, most Bible translations still do not contain the word because it is clearly not what Paul intended. People will continue to misuse the Bible to justify their bigotry no matter what the translations, true Christians will follow Jesus and accept everyone with him in their heart.

  • Atlavocat; Sin is missing the mark. A man's sexual organ is designed to unite with a womans sexual organ. An anus is designed ot expell waste even animals know this so sodomy is a sin it misses the mark and has nothing to do with love and nature. I don't hear 1Cor2two condemning anyone. But I do hear your condemnation. People create their own hells by living a lie and selfcentered lives. Jesus teaches true love, sacrifice and liveing for the sake of God and others.

  • "The question is whether it is sinful or not."

How about the question of whose business it is?

Did you ever hear of Jesus reviling gays?

    Of course not!

He saved his rebukes for those self-righteous hypocrites

who laid burdens of law and guilt on their hearers.

    Why do christians attack gays

while embracing gossip and arrogance and reviling and greed,

all of which are also listed as sins in your bibles?

    Can you answer me this?

  • His Word condemns it. And no true Christian embraces the sins you mention.

  • How do you people live with yourselves???? You betrayed your own family and friends!....You do not respect God....You only Love yourselves.........Sick.

  • Its the 21'st Century and fools are still writing on the walls of Caves.......How sad and sickening.........God loves everyone.....even you..........saddley.

  • Have you ever taken the time to study the accuracy of the Bible? Archealogy has proven over and over that the bible is accurate yet you want to risk your Eternity for a temporary pleasure of sin? You will regret it for all Eternity.

  • "Have you ever taken the time to study the accuracy of the Bible?"

    I have.

I studied it for many years.

It's about as accurate as any primitive book of myth.

  • please back up your statement.

  • You people will believe anything! Homosexuality is Natural. Christianity is a Cult.....Don't believe everything you read and keep your Noses out of other peoples bedrooms......You all Sickness!

  • it's natural for those who reject God and follow after their sinful nature. Our sinful nature will lead right into depravity. Read Romans chapter 1 and you'll see where rejecting Truth will take you.

  • redmark is ignorant

  • There is nothing natural about it. Sex is meant for reproduction. Gays and lesbians cannot reproduce with their own kind. If it were natural, then by biological law, they cannot be considered living things. I don't think anyone would like to sacrifice their identity as a living thing for their sexual orientation. And if you plan on rewriting the laws of biology, I'd suggest you get started now.

  • Praise GOD,and keep up the good work,

  • just know that you don't have to be that way. God can change you and give you new life. Christians who are reading this: Please pray for this person.

  • Actually, I had tried to change for over 2 years without a single result, and before you say it, yes, I *was* Christian and praying.

    And don't pray for me.

  • I'm not sure what kind of change you expected. Some people think when you become a Christian you supposed to become an instant saint. That's not true. Temptations are always there, but God does break a person free from the bondage of sin. I know this from experience. I was enslaved to sin but God totally freed me from the power of it. It no longer has control over my life.

  • the point is not that YOU have to change yourself, its God that does that. as long as you were trying to change you, God wont eph2:8-9

watch some of paul washer's sermons on regeneration to have a clearer idea why you had the completely wrong approach.

  • Amazing and powerful testimony for God! A very touching story indeed...

God bless the ministers who go out in the highways and byways to reach out to even such as these. It is not his will that anyone should perish! He died for the sins of the whole wide world.

    Praise Jesus!

    Amen & Amen!!!

    Prayers & Blessings To All

    jcwfnn2b

  • I know a Christian-raised gay who turned Christian and now has a ministry. He helped me also gain some freedom from habitual sin and he will continue to help many as his ministry continues even though he has some disabilities.

  • YES!!! i heard some other testimonies

GOD'S POWER is MORE THAN WHAT WE COULD EVER THINK

    and IMAGINE!

    GODBLESS US ALL!

  • Awesome video. Great testimony for Jesus! ( =

  • God made us plain and simple but we make ourselves very completed. God created man and woman....God bless.

  • ricardo, just be faithful to God and to your wife, that's the right thing to do

  • Being gay is NOT a sin! The few verses that are referred to in the Bible are very debatable. Of course its easy for straight people to think that its disgusting to them, the thought of it. But its just as disgusting for a gay person. Brush this comment off if you must, but just what if, what if you are wrong? Wow, what a sad shame. Oh and I must ask, in the Bible where it refers to effeminate, how do you explain that verse and lesbians? Um, they're women!

  • please explain how they are debatable.

  • My bible (NRSV) doesn't use the word "homosexual" once.

  • look at 1 Cor 6:9 and look up the greek word "arsenokoitēs"

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality"

  • I'd really like to see a verse in the bible where GOD supported any homosexual activity. I'm about to go read my bible for a thousandth time at least and have never seen such a thing. Being gay is a sin, it says it right in the bible in many circumstances. One instance clearly states homosexuals will have no part in the kingdom of heaven. God made man and woman, man/man woman/woman cannot procreate. It is an abomnination, a perversion of the natural order ordained by Christ. Glory to God.

  • YOu only interpret the Bible to suit yourself and justify your sin. Your argument is not with anyone on earth. Please go ahead and argue that with God. Oh good luckye with that one.

  • Dear Ricardo.

May God continue to bless you in the ministry He has chosen for you.

  • This show that there can be no one who is out of God's grace. Ricardo my prayers are with you and with those who are still on the street.

  • Not sure where you learned history but david barton's website should be helpful in helping you get it right. His site is heavily footnoted. go to wallbuilders website.

  • What is YOUR standard? whatever you feel at the moment?

  • Why does everyone hate gays? Where is God's love?

All I hear about is God's hate.

  • no Christian hates gays. Where do you see that?

  • I"m seeing tons of gay bashing. I'm not saying you are, but I see it nonetheless.

I truly believe that it's always best to show God's love instead of His wrath.

I'm speaking of Westboro Baptist Church of course.

  • well sometimes love does include speaking the Truth and the truth sometimes hurts. When I was presented the Gospel, the Lord did put his finger on those things in my life that were not pleasing to Him in which I needed to turn away from.

  • I am gay myself and I really don't think its wrong. Its up to other if they think its wrong though of course. I do not think its genetic and I sadly think that gays are delusional with the whole genetic thing.

  • Thank you Jesus for touching ricardo. My friend is going through the same thing and i never thought that he could changefrom being gay. This just gave me hope. Thank you for posting this.

  • LORD, put your hand on Ricardo's life and give him full bodily healing, in the Name of Your precious Son Jesus Christ! You love him and it's a little thing for You to heal him completely if it be Your Will, Father. Make him a powerful witness for Your Kingdom and Your saving Love into the future, LORD GOD, for the glory of Your Name's sake. Bless his witness and testimony. Your will be done Father! In Jesus' Name! Amen.

  • as teenagers, we used to treat gay people like dirt. but this video is so moving, it's makes me want to cry! God loves the gay people even though us 'men' beat them up all the time. i am so overwhelmed by the amazing love that is so awesome. thank you Lord.

  • God's ways are awesome. Be brave, brother, God is your courage always. thank you

  • Homosexuals please explain the Roper, Peter study at the CMAJ's medical journal website where the majority of homosexuals who wanted to change were treated successfully. To find visit google and type "homosexual hypnotherapy" and it's the first to appear.

  • 1Cortwo, God bless you greatly!

  • why do christians expect to change other peoples beliefs? i'm not being mean at all or anything, i'm just saying, i don't understand why christians expect to change everyone to fit their ideology. it's not right. live and let live. i personally am gay and i'm extremely offended that someone would make a video (choosing the worst possible person mind you) about changing peoples lives with jesus. if you cared about the well being of humanity you would leave people alone and let them be happy

  • They might be happy in this life but what about in Eternity? Is is loving to let someone slip into eternity without Jesus Christ? And I'm not trying to just jump on the case of homosexuals. I warn fornicators as well and anyone else who lives in sin.

  • i personally do not believe loving soemone is a sin no matter what (man woman, goat, ect.). love is love, it's something you can't control. let it be. you can't expect to explain everything away with religion. also i believe heaven is what a person makes it out to be. i beleive in after life, but i don't think it's all the same for everyone. let people act and believe what tehy think is right for them.

  • So you've made yourself god and decide what is wrong and what is right? How about a grown man loving a little girl? or grown woman with a little boy? where do you draw the line? what if the the boy or girl is consenting and they are only 11 or 12 years old?

  • What happens between consenting adults is their business.

Children are not physically ready or emotionally ready for sex.

  • Felidaise,

really? then what do we do about homosexuals that want to redefine marriage and teach their perversity in the public schools? It then becomes my business and anyone else's in this country who's beliefs are being trampled upon.

  • Marriage is not just a religious institution.

It's a civil one as well.

Ever hear of separation of church and state?

Your right to your beliefs does not override another person's civil rights.

As for schools, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Are you mad because schools acknowlege that homosexuals exist?

What are they supposed to do, pretend that they don't? That's like telling the schools to teach kids that the sky is green because you hate the color blue.

  • seperation of church and state is NOT in the Constitution. Do you know why that letter was written? Public schools now encourage kids to explores those feelings (of homosexuality). They also have removed the labels of Mommy and Daddy so they don't offend homosexual "families".

  • The separation of church and state is a legal and political principle DERIVED from the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ."

As for encouraging students to explore homosexual feelings, that's only for the students who are gay. Heterosexual students don't have homosexual feelings.

Which schools prohibit kids from saying mommy and daddy? Not mine.

  • Yes, it is. Although I'm not American, I'm quite aware that your country was funded under SECULARISM, which proves you are wrong. Besides, perversion is not a scientific definition when you use it indiscriminately as you do. It's a value judgment based on your beliefs, which SHOULD NOT serve as an argument against same-sex marriages in a country that claims to be the land of freedom.

  • Under secularism??? Have you read the Constitution?

  • Freedom must have limits. I would hope everyone draws the line somewhere. Where do YOU draw the line and based on what? your feelings at the given time?

  • I agree freedom must have limits FOR EVERYONE. To achieve it, we all must respect each other's differences. Which doesn't mean I can't attack your philosophies, mainly when they cause intolerance and deny blatantly science conveniently. Christianity is a disgraceful religion and ever since it was created, men learned how to hate the world and themselves in favor of a fantastic afterlife world.

  • So who makes the rules? based on what? why do you call it disgraceful? isn't that judgmental of you to say? Disgraceful based on what?

  • there are over 45 passages in the bible pertaining to animal sacrifice. There are roughly 6 pertaining to homosexuality.

The bible also condones slavery and says that eating shellfish and wearing clothing made of two different materials are abominations

  • You are reading the scriptures out of their context.

  • I agree that some passages in the bible are commonly used out of context. But the old testament does go into great detail multiple times about how to sacrifice an animal, including how to build the altar, which direction to point the body, and states "sound the trumpets" when doing so. My point is that our values have changed over time yet the text has remained the same.

  • The scriptures you are referring to are pre-Christ. Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for our sins(those who receive his gift), so the animal sacrifices are no longer needed. BTW-I should put up a link that points a person on where to find help on these questions. The Bible Gateway website is a good start.

  • My original point was that the old testament places a greater emphasis on animal sacrifice than homosexuality. Even if we no longer need to sacrifice animals, the act of doing so was explained at length. The same cannot be said for the condemning of homosexuality.

  • I'm not sure what kind of explanation is needed in terms of detail for that act. I'd rather not know any details. It's mute point though because the New Testament also condemns it.

  • It is NOT possible to change your sexuality. It is also very dangerous to mess with someones mind as some guys have killed themselves with the pressure of trying to change their sexuality.

  • So how do you explain this video clip? and others who have been set free from that sin?

  • 1COR2; Firstly, being gay is NOT a sin, secondly this guy is kidding himself. Being gay is something you are born with it isn't a choice.

  • The Bible defines what sin is and it calls homosexuality a sin.

  • Firstly, being gay is NOT a sin. Secondly, I think this chap is kidding himself.

  • superstubes, you are wrong. being gay is a choice. most gays come from non Christian homes, abusive homes... I guess if you raise a boy without a father and he developes sissy actions because he is only around sisters and mommy and they are not encouraged in the right way..to be masculine, and then someone comes along and tells him he is gay... he starts to believe it... whatever reason, it is by choice. You are not born gay.

  • Heavenbound; LOL.Hilarious comment. Are you gay???? Only a gay person can say whether or not thay have chosen their sexuality. I am gay and was brought up by mum and dad with a brother too. A loving home. That does NOT fit in with anything you say. No-one told me I was gay,I always knew deep down that I was.

  • However a person ends up in their particular sin is not that important. The important part is that they repent and put their trust in Jesus Christ. Some people come from a addict or alcoholic family. Does that mean being an addict or alcoholic is excusable? Of course not.

  • 1cor; I think it is "important" that people try and understand what a gay person goes through and that no-one chooses their sexuality. Therefore why should someone who is born gay repent when they might have struggled in their teens already to come to terms with it.

  • I've gone through the battles of resisting various sins. Just because a person accepts their own sin in their life doesn't make it okay. God has provider deliverance through Jesus Christ! There is power in Him. He can set ANYONE free from sin. He is more than able to break every chain!

  • 1cor2two; But were YOU born gay???? Unless you have experienced something personally no-one can fully understand it. Being gay is not the same as stealing a packet of crisps or sleeping with someone out of wed-lock.(NOT that i consider being gay as a sin) ITS impossible to change sexuality. Do you think you could change yours,if you had to???

  • i was born a sinner. I definitely know what bondage to sin is and God set me free. and yes if I was born gay, a drug addict, or WHATEVER God is more than able to change me. We are talking about the God who spoke this world into existence. Is that hard for you to believe?

  • 1cor; some guys have committed suicide being pressured to "change" their sexuality .

  • some people have committed suicide trying to quit drugs too.

  • 1cor; what if 1 of your kids was gay?? How would you handle that situation???

  • I would pray for her.

  • Did you wake one day made a choice on yours sexual preference?

  • Ryukage; exactly. People who haven't experienced a situation cannot understand it fully.

  • So I guess no one has the right to judge a murderer unless they've committed murder themselves right?

  • lollllllllllllllllllright!!

  • no one is born gay.

  • Thanks for sharing! Great testimony of God's grace and power to save!

  • Gay folk do NOT need saving.

  • Depends if want to live in bondage and eternity in torment, or not. If thats what you want than yeah no need to be saved.

  • You may live in "bondage" ,but I don't thanks.

  • I think I saw this clip a long time ago on TV when I was a kid. It's so sad more people don't get involved in reaching out to the homosexual community in loving, compassionate ways.

  • Lets hope he frees heterosexuals also.

  • He can free anyone who calls on His Name. There is no chain of bondage to strong for the Lord. He is a Deliverer.

  • I know that.He still looks effeminate to me and God condemns that in the bible. The question is if he called on the lord and remains that way is he still in sin?I am without sin but I am just testing those who claim to know the Father.

  • If he's repented of his sins, he's saved. PERIOD. As to what he looks like, he appears to be doing the best he can to be a man. He lived a certain way all his life so I'm not going to judge him on that one. Only God knows the heart if he is purposely acting feminine but I doubt it.

  • has he delivered you of all evil and sin?

  • He is delivering me daily as I look to Him. It's not a once and for all deliverance. We must DAILY take up our cross.

  • What does the cross mean to you?To me its victory. The cross is his love for us.His grace mercy and forgiveness.I agree we should take his cross everywhere it is what keeps us pure. Those who are free are free indeed. His cross is not burdensome but light.Jesus Christ came to give us rest.

  • What I mean by taking up our cross, is that we need to daily die to self. We must daily apply the cross and surrender to Him. That's what Christ did for us when he went to Calvary and shed his blood for our sins. He said 'not my will, but thy will be done'. Once we die, then yes there is victory because we then have that newness of life and life in the Spirit. I agree the cross is not burdensome. But it can be if you are not truly surrendered to His ways. The Victory comes after we die.

  • Yea that is obvious we live everyday by his grace and love. The calvary is something we are thankful for. When it says die to self it means stop trying to earn salvation by doing this or that.

  • I wish it were obvious to more people. So many have gone the way of the flesh because they want to bypass the Cross/Death to self part.

  • Yes the flesh which makes people think they can save themselves through doing what they think is good or evil.People need to know that they cant earn salvation even if they stopped drinking smoking or whatever because in the end it doesnt matter, what matter is if you let Jesus save you,not by your efforts but by his grace.

  • Wow---just goes to show--you can debate the statistics and studies 'til you're blue in the face, but you CAN NEVER deny testimony. Go
