Most people have inferior technique when compared with B, and they just don't have her versatility. It is what it is.

@ALWAYS4LYF what is a 'Lool'? Everyones a critic(likeagiveadamnaboutwhat theythink) but whether it oversinging or not she clearly nailed this one. Yes, it's really soothing and sounds better listening to the original but performing the original LIVE is a tad bit boring. She's done all of that before. This talented performer wants more. People have a uninformed concept of soul and singing. O.O Usually, most soul singers have power, but they lack everything else: technique, pitch and vocal control, versatility, range, agility, and real power (which doesn't entail screaming). Most of the notes that B can hit with relative ease, soul singers strain on, scream, or struggle with, or can't hit and sustain. Most people have inferior technique when compared with B, and they just don't have her versatility. It is what it is.
