  • @PlancksOcean easy fix, search "tyr the b"

  • Does anyone know the actual list of songs that appear on this song as an instrumental? They all have to be from this album, or at least i think, but they go out of order.

  • @jimmydutch94 yea they are. let me try. 0:00 Ragnarok, 0:33 Lord of Lies, 0:56 The Hunt, 1:30 Valhalla, 2:30 Wings of Time, 3:12 The Rune, 3:50 The Ride to Hel, 4:20 Borhter's Bane, 4:45 Ragnarok. Someone correct me if im wrong. The Rune is a different album, but it fits?

  • @jj12j actually i think its Torsteins Kvaedi not The Rune. They both fit though... but Torsteins Kvaedi is from Ragnarok.

  • love you TYR !

  • Ragnarök will coming, bad. I think the unit criminal will winning, because they lie

and they lie really good, because their have fear, big fear, but their also mighty.

At the end of the days, you have the chances by the eagle, leaving the universe,

or you find deliverance by Jesus Christ.

  • @Regicide22 And this coment is like the person you seem to be. Boring, useless and stupid. Now shut the fuck up and enjoy this masterpiece without pollute it by talking about lady gaga.

  • I FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKKKIIIIIIING love it !

  • This Tyr song is named "The Beginning" from the album Ragnarok, and is a Instumental song, and not a mix as some say.

  • @victimnr47 Although, much like the Northern Lights, it is reminiscent of another song. I believe it is very intentional. Northern Lights is similar to By the Light of The Northern Star like The Beginning is similar to Ragnarok. It's not that common but if it's executed well it's quite phenomenal.

    They did it perfectly.

  • @Tulukall Actually, it's reminiscent of many songs. Ragnarok, Valhalla, The Hunt, Wings of Time, Ride to Hel and others (I think) from the album. First song on the album, gives you a sample of the many riffs you'll find.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tulukall That is because they use traditional northern melodies and poems. Northern lights is a very old melodi from norway. BTW sry for bad english ;)

  • and aparently in this song they dont say anything o.0 but yeah what language does ths band speak

  • What language are they speaking? and yes for all you assholes out there yes i know im stupid and ignorant

  • @TheIrishswag Faroese

  • ASATRU

    as a pagan i die

  • amazing *-*

  • Can anyone tell me what song is 0:32 to 0:54?

Couldn't find it anywhere else, and it's fucking awesome.

  • @HerbredMadness i think regin smiour

  • @renicla nonono. Regin Smiður is not even on this album.

  • but a great mix :)

  • this is a mix of many songs!! :O

  • Hail the ancestors, the gods, the goddesses! hail the folk who have held onto asatru against all christian pressure to drop asatru! Hail Tyr the god of justice and the flattering name for this Faroe islands band! and Hail the Aesir! ASATRU, chant it with me, ASATRU! ASATRU! ASATRU!

  • @DuescherStoltz I couldn't agree with you more, except on the name - 'Asatru' is a good name for the practice of honouring the Aesir, but we should not forget the Vanir! Hail Freyr and Freyja, god and goddess of virility and fertility! Hail Njordr, their father, god of the sea! Hail all the Vanir!

  • @Shiggityshiggtyschwa well spoken brother..

  • @Shiggityshiggtyschwa OR, hail the GODS!

  • @AaViRo I wouldn't doubt it.

  • @AaViRo Don't you mean 0:00-5:08?

  • @WafflezDay Fuck Yeah °w°

  • thanx dude

  • This is a masterpiece

  • týr are the skjalds of our age

  • @Twindustry Well said!Couldn't agree more. :)

  • Am I right that this song is a compilation of other songs from Tyr? If so, could anyone list them, I can't seem to find them all but the first part seems to be the same melody as Ragnarok from the same album.

  • @Lestrac in fact The beginning is just before Ragnarok on the CD it's one same song.

  • *cough* Led Zeppelin was one of the pioneer bands of Heavy Metal *cough*

    Good job, cunt.

Also, Metalheads also for the most part will enjoy listening to Classic Rock and the like

so you talking shit about a genre who probably agrees alot of your favorite music is a bad idea

  • wow, you really are retarded aren`t you? metal and rock fans usely likes and respect both part off music, for me instance. i`m listen mostly to metal, but also love rock n roll and that such. and if you think metal is untalented, you know nothing about music. screw you fag.

  • ur right he is retarded for thinking that

  • this song always make me fall asleep in peace :D

  • Is there a guitar tab for it ??? :O

  • My fav Tyr song btw :)

  • hail odin and the return of balder

  • i'd prefer to hail fenrir.

  • Odin bless the old way

  • beatiful music...

  • Bob has it completely right. I've been saying that for years and people just smirk and laugh. If people just accepted these facts, it would prevent so many wars.

  • 2:30 EPIC!!!

  • All religions are rooted in the same principles and it boils down to ONE thing and that is treating your fellow man with love and respect, but the world is too clouded with people arguing over what religion is right instead of being accepting of others and coexisting

  • true that

  • Damn right, my friend

  • dude i'm a christian myself, but i'm only a christian because i believe God exists.all these other religions were just created by man to replace God.i mean, don't get me wrong i am completely obsessed with different faiths.norse mythology, greek mythology, ect, but they are still just mythology.nothing more.that's the only reason we believe that.i hope that might have clarified anything.sorry if it didn't help any.peace man.

  • Mythology? i base almost everything i believe in off of personal experience, and Mythology is well... the beings are real, the myths themselves can be quite false. for example the myth of lycaon and Zues, the beings are real, but the myth is a lie, Lycaon is no where near as evil as they say he is, in fact Zues is the evil one on that side.

  • im all for religious debates/discussions. but sometimes it just gets tiring. the christians/catholics, whatever, will never agree with us that are of a different faith. they think we're all evil or what have you. its their stupidity & bias thats gonna be their own downfall.

  • There is one large paradox in society. Most people think that all the pagan stuff is just legends or fairy-tales. Well, a lot of gods in paganism are actually explanation of nature because people didn't know physics etc. But at the same time many of them are Christians and believe in god and think that Bible is real. Why?

  • @ValdisG I hear you. Fucking arrogance, that's what it is. The same propagandory, betraying stance to - in fact - all non-abrahamic religions: "They're only tales, nothing you can actually believe or worship"

    Fuck that, Christian assholes.

    The Pagan will never die!

  • ...eat your dick

  • Well, what the fuck. Why should I?

  • HAIL TYR FROM UKRAINE !!! WP

  • Their music sings in such Harmony that they are capable of such a composition an incredible accomplishment.

HAIL TYR FOR YOUR MUSIC DOTH INSPIRE

HAIL TYR THE GOD OF WAR AND VICTORY

  • normally I dont't use this word, because its used to often in the internet, but there is no other way to describe it:

    EPIC

    I'ts absolutely brilliant !

  • Check out,,,Shape of Despair-Curse Life.

  • i love this cause this song is like a little part of every song from the album mixed up brilliant, tyr ftw \m/

  • I never usually into this soft of metal, but i love this band now!

  • well the krismis story is ript from many religions. As are the nuber of the apostels and the krismistree is a germanic habit. And I can keep an going.

  • The Christmas Tree has nothing to do with the Christian.

    And the number of apostles?

  • epic! \m/

  • :' ) ever had that feeling of close to a breakdown when hearing such a beutifull song? i hav right now. hail odin!

  • 3:20 i hear Torsteins Kvaedi

  • at 1:00 into the song they play the main riff from the song the hunt,i love it!

  • 3:50 till the end is epic. I listen to this song just for that part.

  • 0:00 to 5:07 is epic.

  • i agree ^^

  • HAHAHA!! Totaly !! Superbious song!!!

  • Tyr is awesome!

  • omg the jesus-stuff..

you fell for an obvious troll!! :D

  • the solo at 4:15 gives me goose bumps lol

  • me too! :P

  • go accept Jesus

  • Accept Jesus? How about you accept that the stories about him are based on pagan stories, and that the bible was fashioned purely for the purpose of converting pagans to christianity, so that the church could give kings 'divine right' to power and gain control of europe for hundreds of years?

Accepting Jesus is accepting a lie. Turn instead to the true gods! Hail to Odin and the Aesir!!!

  • True. completely fucking true. Ancient gods are more facinating and I'm really interested in vikings and old folks.

In my opinion the bible is a greation caued by Boredom.

  • Purely for the purpose of controlling the world.

  • how was jesus based off pagan stoies?...could u give an example?

  • imma bitch slap the next person to talk about religion in the comments

  • Thor would bitch-slap you for saying that

  • Heracles and Jesus are a lot alike.

  • ummm.. the story of prometheus... he was chained to a rock and a raven comes down and pecks out his liver everyday because prometheus gave human kind knowledge and fire to survive... he sacrificed himself because he loved us... but it's easy to say that the story of jesus had been prophesied for thousands of years... most religions walk hand in hand with the jesus story.. and jesus is a fairly new concept if you look at the worlds religions in whole...

  • Odin was hung on the Yggdrasil tree for nine days and nine nights, also he was speared in the side of the stomache... now jesus was hung on the cross and was perched.... COPY CATS! lol

  • speared* not perched... LOL

  • maybe the norse are from the lost ten tribes of Israel that fled north from assyrian captivity? And by the way I'm Danish-American, there many who can tell you the links between old norse symbols and ancient jewish beliefs.

  • @TheSeth1211 No, I won't believe you. Just because they have similar symbols doesn't mean anything.

  • @TheSeth1211

This is debatable. First, I'm not a racist, but 'Israelians' (or whatever this tribe may be called) are a different ethnic group than Europeans, so the Scandinavian people would look quite different. Also, if I was living in a Desert (?) and in a generally hot environment, I wouldn't wander north, where it's pretty damn cold. Not counting that they would've bringed their language and culture with them.

  • @Phr0zenFire

First its easier to go cold then warm, my grandfather was from Denmark, and he would always say, you can put more clothes on then you can take off. Second Jews were the only tribe of Israel not to be taken captive and moved north by the Assyrians. That means 10 tribes moved north. There is also meaning similarities between Old Norse and old Christian beliefs.

  • Do you have textual resources on these tribes?

I mean, still, if I were going anyway, I would chose a region vaguely the same as mine. Name me a few similarities please.

(Sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean too. It's all in the interest of friendly debate :))

  • The reason there are similarities is because the christians adapted the Norse ways to make the conversion easier for the ones who went their way, as is with all religons when people are trying to be concored, just look at the way it's done today, war in other countries the first ones over start talking God and how jesus is the light and way, See what I mean? Hail Odin.

  • and this is all considering the fact that in 31 AD, the jews had absolutely NO contact with the norse at all.

  • Its only a joke that we norsemen say to the christians

  • I mean Asatrus/odinist (i dont come from norway)

  • Shiggityshiggtyschwa is right you know. so shut up about that hippy!

  • scorn of goodly faiths gives rise to the wicked. the christian faith has many good ideals, as does the faith in norse gods. i myself, though i follow no set religion, am drawn more to the pagan faiths, but that's just me. personally, i don't see a point in arguing over the gods so long as they are righteous.

  • "i don't see a point in arguing over the gods so long as they are righteous."

I agree ;) Let everyone follow it's religion.

  • Well said. And the actual pre-Christian Norse would, in the main, have agreed with you. They just didn't Care, so long as you didn't get up in Their face with Your God/gods.

"The best way to settle religious disputes is to take no notice of them." Thomas Jefferson.

  • dumbass...stupid motherfucker...go accept good music!

  • It is VIKING METAL
