So much for the people who try to categorize his fans; I saw fans of both sexes, all ages, and many different walks of life in that line. I was there, and took my own video too.
Man, what a cool dude! Someone please name me one other artist who personally greets each & every fan who waits after the show... no wonder the gals love him so much.
He is truly one in a million! I know there will come a day when he can no longer logistically do these buslines. They have grown soooo much. So enjoy these times while we still have them folks cause these are the good ole days!
Many other concerts are loud and raukus, with a lot of obcenity, drugs and fights (a recent one ending in a stabbing death). Clay is such a shining example of what a caring celebrity does for his fans, and shows why all those so called "CRAZY" fans of his love him so much. Beside all that he is super talented, and puts on an amzing show. Thanks CLAY, JoJo and Jan.
Bucky- I think the HRC thought Clay and his fans were going to be one dangerous group of peopl!. They confiscated GLOW LIGHTS if you could believe. A lot did get through though to show Clay a lot of love during the last song. They even went through every nook and cranny of the women's purses. I think they had an agenda from the very beginning when Clay booked. They just didn't like him and his fans. How sad.
One week later Taylor Hicks played the same venue. They were not frisked and could bring in cameras and take video. For Clay's audience they took away all cameras and charged them 3 dollars each to get them back after the show. Dirty buggers! They said it was up to the artist and later one venue guy admitted that they made that up.

I do the buslines for all the venue people who are jaded by concerts night after night...but never experienced one like Clay's. I do it for the not just us people (like my young Italian friends) who would pass by the venue and never notice a name on the marquee, but who couldn't miss hundreds of fans waiting patiently for a touch of a hand."
that is so nice of Clay!
