im thinking of getting a hp mini 1000 myself but cant see them here in the uk atm i think there released in jan 09. i just sold my asus eee 901 so many people kept asking to buy it off me.
yes, i was watching videos on this thing all day. i ordered mine, the new intel atom processor can show the videos perfectly without lag. unlike the old HP Mini note 2133
i got a netbook man, gotta love em! not really fast and that, but its great for the essentials, 8.9" screen and under 1KG, all i use it is for browsing and msn, just perfect for it, 200 quid (400 buckls-ish) it cost me! bargain!!
that's right man, you are spot on. it is very cheap but if you are heavily mulittasking it may lag a bit (but then again all budget computers will, desktop or not)
oh and, can an 18 year old hire motorbikes in america? im going to canada in the summer and was looking to hire a motobike for the 2 weeks and was thinking the lawas may be similar

I recommend the HP mini 1000 greatly.
or maybe the Samsung NC10
but yeah, the Mini is sweet :D

I did not inspect it. (I pretty much knew the hard drive died and I wanted this notebook anyways :P)
