It's going to be a software update b/c it has a Nvidia Tegra APX 2600 graphics card. That is the same as the iPod and it can run flash.

As you can see at the top this was made in 2009. They were supposed to put out a flash update after they put out the facebook and twitter apps. And as you can see, they are doing 1 at a time. So facebook is coming next followed by flash. Just remember that iTouch doesn't HAVE FLASH EITHER. it has a youtube app. Apple HATES flash and will not load it into their phone / itouch. Also remember that PALM said they'll be the first to get Flash on the Palm Pre.

Tot ell you the truth, I'm surprised thast microsoft didn't fix this problem. The fact is that the zune HD is running on an older version of IE (I had NO FUCKING IDEA WHY!) I think it's IE4. and in that browser it has a set number of images / object that it will load before it basically tells the website "Screw it! that's enough data" To be perfectly honest I'd much rather have chrome or something like Firefox on here so that we could at least have the full pages load if not flash.

The Zune HD is competeing with today's gadgets, not 3 years ago. But within a period of around 6 months, I'm sure the Zune HD will have an open app store for developers, better web browsing, flash possibly (Depends on Adobe), and tons of games. As it is already the Tegra is amazing, the screen is 16:9, very attractive OLED, and Microsoft :)

The only mobile that has true Flash support is some phone from HTC, but it's buggy and slow as hell. Flash on mobiles is a ways off still. That is unless Adobe can compress the Flash code.
