  • my welsh did the same thing (died in 2006 being too old (17)..), but he did the excercise only once or twice, then he usually ran off cos he was often too excited to wait and do the yoga lol :D

  • Touchdown - Eminem ;)

    ....

Hey Dude, how much Sports are you doing with your Welshi?

  • Thanks for this video. I would like to subscribe. Do you have them?

I saw a Welsh with a basketball. Is he yours?

Our Welsh's are the Best!! Everyone should have one. They are so intelligent

and faithful buddies. They are heart breakers. Most gentle and loving friend.

So entertaining. Little comedians and in demand all the time. Alll our freinds love

the welsh's. Grandma can't keep her hugs off of them.

  • My Norfolk Terrier mix does this too! Funny stuff...

  • oh and mine does it first thing in the morning right after he wakes up or after he takes a nap and wakes up.

  • lol my rat and patterdale terrier mix does it, too. He stretches his front legs then the back ones...it's so funny and cute.

  • Haha I love this! My welsh terrier does this for like 10 minutes each morning.

  • my welsh terrier does that too but not on command

    lol

  • Ha my airdale does the same thing

  • it is so typical for welsh terrier stretching like this

  • My Welshie does this every single morning. When she was younger, we would say, "Ooooh!..Stretchies!" And now the stretching routine involves multiple check ins with my husband and me to make sure we're enjoying the show. Welshes are so awesome!

  • lol my corgi does that but only 1 time.

  • I love this video. Here is an owner that knows and loves his pooches.i too have a Welsh. I have always has Scotties which are very reserved. My Welsh is a comic, smart and a fabulous companion and has way more energy than I do. He is a small package with an enormous personality.

  • I thought your dog was warming up to put on a Kung Fu demonstration! lol

  • You made my day! Clever, clever! Excellent narration and your dog is adorable! My husband and I are thinking about getting a Welsh Terrier--- how are they as pets?

  • I've had two, 1 male 1 female. Training is an ongoing lifelong process, they are very intelligent and have a mind of their own. Like a child, if they do something once and decide they enjoy it will become part of the everyday routine.

They are very rewarding companions that are an whole lot of fun, but require a lot of attention, they don't like to be left alone if you go to work everyday.

  • I've had 2 WTs. They're very friendly happy little guys. But they do have a mind of their own and like getting their own way more than pleasing their human. :-) Wonderful companions. I'd hike with Quigley off leash, and he'd always wait for me when he got too far ahead.

  • Sorry for the late response. Ive had a few dogs in my life and I can truly say that Welshs are the BEST! I originally wanted a larger terrier (Pit bull) but my wife wasnt going for it so we settled on a welsh. I would highly recommend a Welsh for anyone. Theyre smart, full of energy, good with kids (most of the time) and they look GREAT! Good luck in your search.

  • my dog does this a welsh terrier aswell

  • Aw, this did make me smile :-)

  • You did make me smile! Does he do this routine all on his own, or is he following instructions? We lost our beloved Welsh terrier to kidney disease in 2007 and we miss him so much. Best dog ever, and he made friends everywhere we went.

  • Thanks for the comment. Sorry to hear about your Welsh.

My dog isnt coached. He really does this stretch routine just about every morning before I go to work. The only dog Ive ever had that does this.

  • My Welsh did a stretch every morning too, but not a whole routine. Just the front paws once and the back paws once. Also, every time he'd first wake up, he'd shake his head and you'd hear his tags jingle.

  • darling-

  • I am getting an airedale in the spring, but of course welshies are adorable as well!! So is your accent . . . you remind me of my favorite cowbody, Augustus McCrae.

  • whenever my welshie gets out of his cage he stretches just like that lmao. nice vid 11/10

  • Me and my dawg Gnasher love this vid! Thanks!

  • What an adorable dog. I had a Welshie for 13 years and I've never laughed so much before or since. Still grieving, Sylvia in California

  • I have 1 dog, my first dog a wlesh terrier unfortunatly i nor he is up at 5 AM and he can be very exitable but unfortunatly has food intolerences with chicken and pork, and very bad Colites (who knows how thats spelt!!)

  • I adore this video! I wish my Welsh Terrier was that calm and well behaved...he wakes a Welsh TERROR every day! Check out my videos!! We have four dogs!
