a man is controling the rudder on his ship, but in order to change his direction for good, he needs new wind which comes from different direction...to push the ship in the different way.....That situation might create this sentence in Japan...I guess.
I am looking for the best way to express"我々には新しい風が必要だ
Well, as you might know, it doesn't mean we really need to look for a new wind. If I translate in a typical expression, that would be " we need somthing new for our project" but this is not an attractive sentence for me.
So, I'm asking you because you I guess you might have an good idea. This sentecne expresses
You know what's cool Mr. Breakman? Using the Japanese version of YouTube. I clicked on a Japanese video from Google, and now everytime I go to YouTube it gives me the Japanese page for YouTube. I like it a lot. I can't wait to see more of your videos!
Hmm... good question. Not sure what the difference is. I think the image of philanthropist is that they are rich! I am not rich but I can give a poor person food or clothes or money. That is charity.
In fact philanthropy stands for the Greek word "φιλανθρωπία" that means love to the human genre. And the word charity stands for the Latin word "carĭtas" that means solidarity feeling for the others suffering. It's kind of different in my opinion...
Hi Action Teacher,
