The MK characters are so cheap in Mugen. They can cancel all your moves with any of theirs (even really weak ones), they have ridiculously overpowered supers, and they always seem to get the first hit in all the time, even if they started late. Watch how Scorpion "beats them to the punch" in this video and you'll see what I mean.

It is a shame that the Guilty Gear AI in this video is so terrible. Guilty Gear is such a fast paced game whereas even in its day, the old mocap Mortal Kombat characters were so damn slow and unresponsive. Had the GG characters simply been fighting the MK characters at their original speeds and in their original fashions, the MK characters never would have stood a chance.

Look up some of Muteki's characters.

They have absolutely ridiculous AI. Only characters I can face up against them are the ridiculously overpowered/god/rare ones.

Especially Chipp, Testament, Eddie and Justice.

I share your thoughts exactly LPTCDreamer...On the part about mortal combat losing that is since the top tier GG chars (Justice and Gear Sol) have planet busting capabilities.The Other High level chars (O. Sol, Dizzy, Ino and possibly Zatto) are not far behind them.Whereas Mortal Combat on the other hand (Albeit being crazy strong to normal humans) Can't do things like that...

Keep in mind that this is vs. MK with all the hyper moves attached. They're edited because MK doesn't have anything on any other fighting game without it. Guilty Gear has the one hit kill moves, and if it was actually used at all then MK would lose for sure. Besides, the AI for Guilty Gear didn't use much more than regular attacks, MK's AI used specials and hypers, some of which the originals never had. MK shoulda lost this one.
