I found this great. I am on a wheelchair and find myself slanted and this helps me stay straight. Normally if i see an exercise it seems you can only do it standing. Both of these I can do on the chair
@sonebone7 I think swimming helps with that problem I used swim at least 2 hours a day and my neck pain stopped but now I have a cold and I cant swim anymore so it is back again
No the hands wont touch the shoulders. 99% of humans are unable to touch the shoulder in this manner. Touching the shoulders is not necessary nor would ask the client to specifically touch the shoulder. Use the phrase "try to put your hands on the top of the shoulders". This rolls the shoulder girdle posteriorly and helps with cervical alignment. Thanks for the comment.
@PostRehabSpecialist where is cervical spine and cervical extentions. I would like to work on my neck and upper back because it is hurting and for some reason my neck movements are limited because of the pain. I used to go swimming and it helped any suggestions???
I've been having clients do this at their office chairs for years---ever since I first learned in the MES course way back. It's a great one to have clients do on their own at the office chair on the hour every hour so that they unwind and it helps to counteract the effects of the office environment, which causes rounded shoulders and forward head.

I have done this exercise and have seriously injured by coxs-is. i am starting a class action lawsuit against all persons wearing blue shirts and white pants.

Ok, that is not normal. Im not an expert but what you say doesn't sounds good. First option is that you are doing wrong but if that isn't the case you probably got problems outside of this area, how serius those problems is i don't know. But if you have the possibility get an X-ray from a Chiropractor or even an normal doctor. The thing is that medical doctors and chiropractors look at different thing in an X-ray, so if one of them won't be able to find the problem the other one might. Good luck
