  • The music is "Jumping Jack Flash" from the Rolling Stones.

  • That's why I bought a 32" monitor, so idiots can make 4" videos. Hope your boat is better quality.

  • @azis1100

I hope to visit a doctor for your problems with videos.

  • maximum impact speed - 45 kilo Newtons per square centimeter

  • Also FLYSHIP 80 has classification by Germanischer Lloyd's or Lloyd's which is also a famouns insurance companies in shipping industry. Any certified vessel has insurance contract by any insurance firm.

  • Any commercial WIG craft which is comply with IMO and HSC safety rules has also and insurance contract by any ship insurance firm. The fisrst commercial WIG craft has operated in Bahamas (US) 10 years ago (Amphistar Xplorer USA now called Aquaglide-5) with insurance and tranfered tourists under the commercial license of Virtzinia Transportation Dept.

  • ^^if there were jobs that is. =/

  • yeah i don't see these things replacing cargo ships. So far they all seem too small for cargo. But for human/public transportation these would be great. These would be great for island-hopping throughout the Caribbean Islands. These could be great for industrial productivity in coastal markets. Imagine living in Cuba and working in Jamaica.

  • I presume that you don't know that this craft technology has developmend by USSR to transport even army vehicles. Now Korea has a project for a cargo WIG craft (100t). This size of WIG craft (FLYSHIP 80) could carrying special cargo such as fragile goods and for courier services.

  • I saw and heard of the ekranoplan but that project never fully materialized did it? Making a vehicle then shelving it, suggests that maybe it is not ready for that sort of payload on a COMMERCIAL scale. Military transport is not necessarily made for commercial efficiency first. At what point does the weight of the ship exceed the benefit of fuel efficiency and other commercial interests.

  • Yes the Ekranoplans is a famouns project the last 30 years. Ekranoplans are realized in big size that I have told you before. Caspian Sea Monster was the largest flying machine that ever build bigger than a boeing. Now other Russia companies in private sector has continue the WIG craft projects.

  • And yeah the Boeing also had a concept for a cargo WIG (the Pelican). Again these things are concepts at this point. The better market right now would seem to be human transportation (in coastal regions) as the video suggested.

  • Boeing has in papers a project can't realized with no experienced backagound in this technology. They have tried to adopt the experienced by USSR but with no success. Russians has keep their secret from stabilization system.

  • WIG craft can't replace in total the RO-RO ships but they could take a portion of their duties.

  • these things are good in theory but won't be a replacement for ships. The Russians had the same tehnology 30 years ago and gave up on it becouse of it's high cost. What would happen to this thing during strong wind or storm?

  • This craft is not good in theory, probably you dont have view the other videos with WIG crafts (no theory but reality). Why it isn't replacing the ships? The ships are very slow with extremely high operating cost so why not be replacement?

  • The Russians are developing this crafts for military use and they have produced for civilian purposes so how they have gave up the concept? Check also the video with Aquaglide-5. Please make a serious study in the concept before your spell out something otherwise you jeopardise to be ridicules. FLYSHIP 80 can avoid storms and can operate safely in winds till 8 force in beaufort scale.

  • I'm not saying that the flyships aren't a good idea but I haven't seen any of these flying live and there are only prototypes of them working. The Russians intended to made two types of the Lun ekranoplanes; one for civilian use and one for the military. I don't know much as you about this project and I hope that there will be use of them in the future but I don't belive that they will become a "hit" in the next few years. Not many people know about these things yet.

  • Santa i have been a good boy this year if you dont mind could you plz ! leave 1 of the above in the font garden !

  • I'm afraid in this financial crisis this is extremly difficult. All good things are cost enough.

  • damn santa...:(

  • very cool. need them in scotland for the isles.
