Yes, I agree. If RTD doesn't bring her back in a dramatic and fantastic way, it's going to ruin "Doomsday". Her return has to be just as meaningful as her exit. They're treading on a very thin strand over a pack of angry sharks with this one.

It's going to be difficult, and if they mess up, the fans are going to eat them alive, but I think that they're brilliant writers and should be able to pull it off.

And really thinking about it, I don't think she is going to come back for good. They've already established that break in the Doctor and Rose's relationship, and I think that it is going to be irreversible. I think that her return is going to be temporary and she is going to CHOOSE, not be FORCED to return to her parallel world and the life she has there.

I don't think the Doctor is going to be able to tell her that he loves her. It just goes against his nature. He's had all those oppurtunities to tell her in the past, and he never acted upon them. So I don't think Rose is going to get the closure she needs.

As for her actual return, if anything, I really don't want a repeat of "School Reunion". That would just be awful. I really like her character, and I think she has gone through enough pain for the time.

But I don't think they're done agonizing her just yet. She's a tragic character, she was just written that way, and she's not going to suddenly have a happy ending and life all rosy (pun intended) when she sees him again.

In leaving her parallel world and finding him again, she is relieving herself of one issue but piling on several more.

She knows a relationship with the Doctor is not permanant, and this is just going to confirm it further. I truly think that these two are destined for an unhappy ending, regardless of her returning to him.

As for her "not" filming any scenes with David as of yet, I don't think they'd bring her back and not have her meet him at all. If they're bringing her back and not having an actual reunion, I think they'll be saving it for one of the specials next year. Not reuniting them but bringing her back seems a bit pointless.

Well, they definatly are meeting. There's pictures that have surfaced online of them together (I'm not saying where, just for those who don't want to know yet), and I really think that if it's planned carefully and written well they'll be fine.

I'm really hoping that whatever they do, it's explosive and just as emotional as when she left.

They're going to have a difficult time, because the expectations for her return are very high, and their lives are practically in danger.

That's exactly why I don't know if I want her back or not. Dooms day was AMAZing and packed with meaning and sadness and such. It'll only take about three seconds of Rose to ruin that, and I don't want to see that dramatic finale and all the stuff leading up to it to get washed down the drain.
