@HakartMulds I agree for the most part. Sometimes, though, while they don't make emo music, it seems as though Disturbed tends to focus a bit on pessimism in their songs. They're one of my favorite bands because they make great tunes, but sometimes when I hear the lyrics to a pessimistic song I roll my eyes and think "come on, man....". I do, however, really appreciate the path that Disturbed has gone with songs like "Indestructible" and "Warrior". Those songs really get me going in the morning!

And I'm not arguing your point just adding a bit more to it, I'm more of a metal kind of guy, but I'm very respectful to those that pioneered rock into what it is today and without rock, metal wouldn't exist either. And Rock will never die, it may not be modernized/popular alot of the time, but it still kicks ass.
