  • @drakelite send me a message on what tuning you want for the song and i'll give em to you label them as paul and martin okay? .. :) remember in LIVE and Acoustic LIVE .. they're tuned in two different tunings.. in LIVE they use Eb ( E Flat) and Open D Dropped a half step (C# G# C# F A# C#).. but in acoustic live, they are Dropped a whole step (C G C E G C) ..

  • @drakelite i was wrong for that E Flat, it's Drop D, dropped Half a step ..

  • i like this song .. but why are they such douchebags :P

  • I'll Love You Forever !!! <3 :D

  • love this part: you made me want you OH! so bad it hurts <3 blg

  • damn you martin xD @3.45

  • 2:34 lol Martin changing the capo fret

  • Lol Paul sounds like I do when I try to do the higher harmonies. that's funny. I don't feel so bad now.

  • phhuu i dont know ... there are live versions of this song which are way better than this one. paul is singing very well like always but martin sounds weird -.- what was wrong with him? hmm everyone can have a bad day i guess ...

  • yeh paul stick the the guitar m8

  • THEY SUCK LIVE!!!!!

  • sounds like he's hungover

  • i love this song buttt i dont think he sings live very good :(

  • martin isn't sounding to hott today

  • In case you didn't notice their next song is two is better than one and they will play it in open B which is half step lower from the original tuning of the song. Tuning guitars will take time if they have to the tune from half step lower than the D (C#) down to open B, maybe that's why they did it with open B capo on the 1st fret (C).

  • @kevzfm No. Its open C with capo on the first so technically open c#

  • @ASuperModelSuicide but it's open C half step down with capo on first fret, so technically it's open C. lol

  • @iawokeonfire213 actually, it's drop C# with a capo. not open C. open C would mean it sounds like a C major chord when you strum it open. this is a dropped tuning. and they only use the capo live, to make the song in the key of D.

  • @loveoath360 In acoustics, Martin's guitar is open C while Paul's guitar is Open C too. For love drunk. For the great escape and thunder and hero heroine, Martin is Open C while Paul is Drop C.

For love drunk acoustics, they use the capo on fret 1 with Open C tuning. For love drunk electric version, their guitars are tuned to Open D, with the capo on fret 1.

For every song, Martin will always be in Open C for acoustics and Open D for electric. I play their songs everyday. I know what im sayin.

  • @drakelite What about for heart heart heartbreak and great escape?

  • @ashzackyv For Heart Heart Heartbreak (electric) Martin uses Open D while Paul uses Drop D.

For The Great Escape (electric), Martin tunes to the Open D tuning but puts a capo on the 2nd fret. Paul doesn't use a capo for Great Escape (electric) but plays it 2 frets higher too (like Martin).

The Great Escape acoustic - Martin uses Open C (CGCEGC) and Paul uses Drop C (CGCFAD)

Heart Heart Heartbreak - Martin uses Open C BUT dropped half a step I think. Paul uses Drop B ? THere's a pattern. Figure.

  • @drakelite What about the tuning of two is better than one?

  • @MrLawlietkun For Two Is Better Than One. They use the same tuning as Heart Heart Heartbreak Acoustic which is CGCEGC but dropped half a step down.

  • @drakelite I'm sorry, but I am beginner in tuning, what do you mean by the dropped half a step down?"it's open C (CGCEGC) but dropped half a step down" can you explain to me what is the dropped half step down?so it's not actually CGCEGC? :)

  • @drakelite here, they are tuned CGCEGC but with a capo on the first fret.. yep, in heartbreak and two is better than one, they are tuned B F# B D# F# B .. only those songs..

  • @MrLawlietkun But that is for the acoustic version. For the electric version which Taylor Swift sings in, the tuning is on ultimateguitar. Find it~ :)

  • @drakelite wrong, BLG uses Open D and Drop D and puts capos if needed in Studios.. but in Live they drop in a half step, and in acoustics, they drop it a whole step, and 1 and a half sometimes.. they use Open D>> DADF#AD >> Dropped a half step so >>C#G#FG#C# >> and then a whole >> CGCEGC (its not called open C because Open C is tuned >> CGCGCE)

  • @UpAgainstTheWall22 so what is the EXACT tuning for this video?and BLG other songs??can you give the list of the song (especially for their acoustic live) and what tuning they're in?any help would be appreciated thanks. I know the tabs but the TUNING bothers me. I want to play just like the way they're playin :)

  • they tuned their guitars down so low. most sucky bands do that. some bands only tune it down half a step but boys like girls tune it down so low. but honestly, i love them. i just dont like them live.

  • @yyang65 or maybe its because when you're playing acoustically you want to have a soft more intimate vibe to the song. hence why they drop the key a full step, he can still sing the songs in the regular key its just for acoustic they drop it a full step instead of a half and when they play full band sets its only a half step down

  • paul sounds kinda bad here. don hate me coz i love paul the most among the rest

  • i mean paul

  • martin is doing really bad here... cold, flu?

  • Love it=) if anybody has time id appriciate them checking out the two vids i have on my channel

  • beast guitar man! :D

  • the guitar is amazing when the play it acustic!!

  • is he wearing eyeshadow

  • paul sucks in singing...

  • what tuning is this in ?! because the bonus track sounded higher a little! someone please help ! im trying to play this on guitar ! PLEASE HELP! i need to know what tuning is THIS in?

  • @mvonnelovemusic use this chords .

    Drop D

    intro: E-B to A

    verse : E-A-F#m-A to Bm

    E-A-F#m-Bm

    chorus: C#m-A-E-B 2x A-B-C#m-Bm

    bridge : A-E to B-A 2x

    adjust two frets :)

  • can you please write it down as tabs for me pleaseee?

like tabs for E in drop D.....please ?

    i still couldn't learn this song. :(

  • @mvonnelovemusic Just play the song like they do, it's really easy.. tuning is open B: B F# B F# B eb.

And then capo at the first fret.

  • Thank you! It's always the tuning that's bothering me. I'm bad at tuning. Always breaks my strings :(

  • the actual tuning is

    D

    A

    D

    F#

    A

    D

  • but in this video its a full step lower so its a form of open C tuning they use for acoustic, on the bonus track it was only a half step lower than the D tuning that i wrote down for you

  • 3:23 LMFAO

  • i don't really hate him as a person Paul's a very nice guy =).. But his voice sounds kinda pitchy @ some parts just annoys me@some parts...thats all.

  • its all about the system theyre working with. it aint easy adjusting to the sound the mic systems give off. live he sounds great

  • lol! those are sweet bracelets! :D "Love Drunk"

  • why do you hate paul? he always sings those harmonies, you just can't always hear them over the band. it's easier to hear when they're playing acoustically. martin is obviously amazing too, but the harmonies make the whole song sound better overall.

  • how can u hate paul?! i frickin love him! <3

  • @sparksox524 OMG SAME HERE! I LUFF HIM!! and who hates paul! D=< who ever it is...that person iz retarted (NOOO OFFENSE)

  • funny thing is that I rated this five star before the video even started playing.

    just love them.

  • martin is so sexy!
