I saw Tyske Ludder performing in Hannover at the DAF concert . It is a german Industrial Group grounded in 1989. They are deeply influenced by the in jugoslavia in the 90`.
@Daealis lol, after about the tenth time I stopped laughing and started to sing along. Now people are looking at me funny. Fuck em', I love this song.
@gombie Also, I'd just like to add quickly, It's not modern day english. It means, happy. When Johnny comes marching home again Hurrah! Hurrah! We'll give him a hearty welcome then Hurrah! Hurrah! The men will cheer and the boys will shout The ladies they will all turn out And we'll all feel gay When Johnny comes marching home. Obviously, they're celebrating and welcoming the soldiers home. It doesn't mean "and we'll all feel homosexual when johnny comes marching home." Makes no sense.
@gombie True true, however, since this song is pretty much set in the 1940's, it's understandable since that would be the definition of the word during that time period.
And, since most of Tsyke's music is set around WW2, it makes sense.
Everyone can play on an instrument but few can make it sound good. SAME WITH COMPUTERS. Everyone can use computers as tools to produce music, but a very few can make good music, and industrial/synth contains most of these "goods".
Tyske ludder is danish and means "Deutsche Hure". German Whore ;-)

Das Tyske Ludder, steht eher für die "deutsche Hure" oder "deutsche Schlampe", nicht wahr!

Yeah, i know the lyrics.
But i couldn't first hear (with the first few listenings) if they sang that part.
Everybody gets what it means, but it's still little odd these days to sing so...
