  • i love that parrot

  • Quite amazing

  • Fantastic.. wow, I knew parrots (and other singing birds) could be trained to vocally respond to trigger words, but this one actually shows physical tricks aswell. Really didn't know that. And what a performance!

  • OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

  • Slater ftw!

  • At 3:01 to 3:02 some one said in arabic word (islamic) "ma aslama" that means bye, I think it was from parrot? can anybody confirm that please?

  • @old2013 no it was the lady saying Ohh wow or something like that....she gave her a treat so she wouldnt have been talking.

  • superstaaaar!!! jajajjajajajaja. amazing!!!

  • Je to moc hezké.Přímo super!!

  • not bad. but its obvious he learned the commands and what hes supposed to do like a dog ... and thats not genius. dogs are idiots

  • says superstar

  • AHAHHAHA This is just so funny.

Btw, what did the parrot say when asked "Are you famous?" (2:51) I dun understand why that lady looks so shocked!

  • this is fantastic. But, I didn't understand what Einstein said when asked if he knew he was famous. Obviously, it was good because the audience clapped.

  • he says "superstar"

  • omg i luv da laser its so funny at 1:20

  • The best is at 2:10

  • haha cool bird

  • hahahha, that's brilliant..

my parrot can talk too, nut not that much... it seems that that parrot's is better trained than mine T________T...

  • Simply amazing! A thoroughly enjoyable watch. Thanks for sharing!

  • That's just conditioning, the parrot certainly doesn't understand a word of what the girl is saying.

  • very nice, good job birdy =)

  • not to rain on this parade, but these birds don't normally do this in the wild :D, it takes month or years to train them to repeat stuff, almost just like a dog. yet dogs are just mindless animals doing anything trick for a treat.

  • Actually thats not true. While in the wild you wouldnt see this level of recall birds do naturally imitate the sounds they hear around them. Crows have been known, especially in well populated areas, to repeat human speech and sounds (often scaring the more ignorant people such as yourself).

  • I do admit that i sounded pretty dumb saying that, but i guess i wasn't too clear. parrots don't have that level of speech in the wild. I didn't know about the crows till now, but i myself haven't heard one. So that's not too fair to say that i am ignorant about that. Also note that crows also have an adept ability to use their surroundings to break open nuts to eat. That's why you seem them perching on telephone wires with nuts in the road. So no, i don't find that i am that ignorant.

  • I didnt mean you were a generally ignorant person. Only that you were ignorant of this one fact (which you admitted regarding the crows). This is a natural skill for birds, one this trainer has just focused on.

  • well actually if you look at the facts, i wasn't technically "ignorant" about them talking, i just never knew. Difference between saying something falsely, rather then not knowing at all.

  • Actually you seem ignorant on what the definition of ignorance is. Not knowing something is by definition being ignorant about it. Here is a definition to help clarify for you:

The condition of being uneducated, unaware, or uninformed.

You would fall into the "uninformed" category of that definition. So yes, you were in fact ignorant.

  • I guess i was ignorant now that i see ignorant can be used as a broad term for not knowing or unknowingly. But still i find it offensive and almost a undertone way to say someone is stupid or dumb, which clearly isn't the case.

  • No problem. most people use the term ignorant incorrectly and that has always bothered me (most people use it as a term for anyone that is rude). Im just glad you learned something. Not to mention you are suprisingly accepting of criticism, thats rare on youtube.

  • You're ignorant

  • That's so cool :)

Why is everyone saying Americans are annoying?

  • omg so kewl i wish my brid could do that.

  • maybe he is some kind of spy..

  • Google Alex African Gray Parrot and find out how smart parrots really are!

  • I actually knew a bird like this, and I knew her very well. She said things at the right times, and even made up her own sentences occasionally. She wasn't rehearsed - she just knew what to say at what time, just like we do...

  • í highly beleve it was tought to do that in that exact order

  • tht is so coooooooooooooooool!

  • awesome!

  • hahaha awesome. if i had one id teach it to curse at people. hahaha. id be like "a is for ..." "asshole"! haa ;)

  • I used to have an african grey, swore all the time.. was also very viscious to most people.. i'd go near him and he'd be like "Fuck off, wanker!" Then bite the cage, but used to let my dad stroke him and he said his name then good boy..

    I didnt like it lol

  • ha ha at least i didnt call u a bitch and a slut my friends cousins bird did that 2 her boyfriend LOL!

  • that is NOT fake. i know and have seen birds make noises, never quite like that...but still..it was amazing

  • i like he way it said BYE lol..

  • Oh my gosh!! I want that bird =)hehe

  • haha its not fake. my friend's parents have an african grey, they are masters at verbal imitation. the can mimic sounds almost to perfection.

  • really? That's so cool, coz for every word it's as if it's got a different voice, so cool!

  • its fake. there`s a tiny tape recorder in the birds mouth. you can see it.

  • lol thats no genius you dee deedee

  • greanpeace is a government cooperation all over the world. Its like all the earht and environment issues..

I think!!, Yer im pretty sure its something like that

  • where is greenpeace???

  • that takes sooo much work to do that, i'm talking months and months of training and bonding. i think the impressions sound amazing, they always do coming from an african grey

  • that bird is very good, the dude who says it needs work is crazy.

  • lol

  • thats realy cool

  • i love kerry she is so cute...oh yeah and the bird is cool

  • that was amazing!

and stop scrutinizing and calling the bird inferior! it ain't harming any of us! and for the record...some humans kill parrots for selfish reasons...but i haven't heard of any parrots killing humans!

can you ungreatful beings just give the bird a round of applause?!

    i already have.

  • Just to continue the discussion regarding itelligence, you have to remember the birds brain is about 1000X SMALLER than ours! You cannot expect it to understand language. What is remarkable, is that it can recognize and remember associations. It's called primitive communication. It's called Life.

  • omg thats one smart bird.!!

  • I think the bird impresion needs a bit more work.

  • FAKEFAKEFAKEFAKEFAKE!!!!

  • ur gay and u dont no nothing

  • dat bird iz stooped

I'm joking, of course, but yeah... this bird's pretty cool in my book. I wouldn't mind having it as a pet, although it'd probably get annoying after a while. I'd rather have a genius dog. Anyhow, good video.

  • It's sad that people kill animals because they think they're inferior than the "human" race

  • the are inferior

  • you are certainly inferior...learn to write, idiot

  • humans and animals are equal to me... if someone is able to kill an animal just because it's not a human beig I think it's sad!

  • Well... isn't choosing "animals" equally random as choosing one species? Why not extend your love to all living things? Obviously you'd die if you didn't kill to eat (plants, including fruits and vegetables, are also alive), but perhaps you think that's the way it ought to be.

In my opinion, what really matters is not killing but suffering. Force-feeding geese to produce an abnormally huge liver - which is the pricey bit - is bad. Hunting game is not - in my view, that is. :)

  • omg how cuteeeeee

  • i'd do her

  • me too, but her hair should never be long

  • That bird talks english better than me xD!

  • Very cute... Parrots have a great attention span, and are awesome at LEARNING things.

Great job in training the bird!

  • This bird is amazing... I bet it tastes even more amazing with some soy sauce.

  • aaaah the bird isnt genius humans tought it to do that it does even understand lol grow up !

  • thank u captain obvious. No one thought that the bird was taught.

  • Very Intelligent =]

  • she gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "BIRD BRAIN"....awwsome

  • What does he say at the end???? when the woman says are you famous, what does the parrot say????? its annoyin the hell out of me so pleeeez tell me!!

  • it says "superstar" or "petstar" one of those.

  • she asked him "are you famous" and hes saying "superstar"

  • it could be: yes we are

  • parrot r way to smart then human that true

  • The Bird is Smartter then the people it talk on the tech support line

  • birds can talk and understand what ur saying.its just there intellegence capacity is low...that they cant learn too many stuff..

  • lovin' it

  • apparently SOME people here have never heard of alex the african grey

search alex african grey.... then youll see parrots CAN reason

  • go kill yourself

  • toot hilarious!

  • Birds don't talk they mimic!

  • Isn't that how humans learn to talk as well?

  • The bird has no idea what it is saying. Humans on the other hand eventually do.

  • But if it was only repeating, wouldn't that mean that first the woman would have to make the noise so that the bird would know to make it? The fact that he responds to words like "space ship" and "evil" with a different sound shows he must have at least learned that those two go together.
