Re 3 every player knows that the secret is to make combos, with separate zombies does not work, you have to weaken them, bring them together, and kill them one by one with a fast weapon. Serves to weaken the gun, the gun, to define.

Dude FFS how? How do you dodge so well? To me it happens random. What buttons do you press and when? Also, why do you change the M4 to 3-round burst and then switch back?

To dodge, you need to shoot/attack the exact moment an enemy attacks you. Hold R1 to lift your weapon and press X to fire the moment an attack is about to hit you. Depending on your luck, you may duck, sidestep, or roll out of the way (usually sidestep). How generous the timing for the dodge is depends on the attack.

I think you can also hold X while running and tap R1, but if you mistime it/are out of range of an attack, you'll just lift your gun instead of dodging, so it's risky

Zombies also have a 'special' dodge where instead of the normal sidestep/duck you shove them back right before being bitten, but I find it the hardest to do and seems to require mashing the button just as one nears you.

The easiest way to get good at dodges is against the 1st encounter with Nemesis. Lift your gun, and any time you see him try to grab/punch you, fire at him and you should do a dodge if you time it right.

You also cannot dodge during a weapon's recovery animation, so weapons like the knife or shotgun are much, much harder to dodge with than the Eagle, because each swing/shot takes you a second to get back into the ready position, whereas you recover almost immediately after firing the Eagle, so its high rate of fire makes it very easy to dodge if you're shooting when you're attacked.
