i dont know what it is about this score, and this particular track is great. i play it when im feeling down or pissed. lol. its like my life has its own soundtrack, and this track somes up many feelings i have. greta film, but even greater score!
God... This is why I love Youtube. I thought I would never hear this track again without having to watch the movie... So sad and grudgeful... And yet it fascinated me when I was a kid. Thanks for the upload.
@20erixon Very true. This film totally knocked me out when I saw it in '89. One of the best film scores ever composed. This piece especially. Keaton's Batman had that something which other versions didn't. Very dark, intense and sombre, & gave the character a dark depth and reason for what he does. An all time classic film. I had an old copy of this score on cassette. It's long overdue that I buy this again on CD.
@SwordfishFilms1 yea Burtons does show the Dark of Gotham City which Nolans i think like shows the jouney from Bruce being in middle with his parents got shot and soon becomes a legend like Ras al Ghul said in Batman Begins for him to become a legend
This is seriously some of Elfman's best work...he's done a lot of good stuff but I think this soundtrack is epic...and much better than his Spiderman score though, to be fair, the tone of that film is much different.
Best Batman flick ever.

Jack: Tell me kid, you've ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight?
Bob: C'mon let's go, let's go Jack!
Jack: See you around, kid.
