It does not really matter whether the topic is debunking Zakir Naik or Amed Deedat. The problem is Islam is not able to answer questions put forward. For example: The entire surah 1 (all 7 verses) is a prayer for guidance. To whom is Allah praying? We see no instruction given to Muhammad to pray this prayer. This is a very good question, and a very difficult one to answer in this format. But, foolish that I am, I will make and attempt and may the grace of God fill in the gaps.
After much careful thinking, I find the concept of forgiveness in the Bible to be the ONLY logical description of God...
Part2: It maintains BOTH the perfect Justice and perfect of an Almighty God.
If God is the highest being conceivable all His attributes must be infinite. That is, if He has knowledge, He must have infinite knowledge. If He has power, He must have infinite power. If He has JUSTICE He must have infinite justice. If He has MERCY, He must have infinite mercy.
Here is the problem: Justice and Mercy work in opposition to one another....
Part3: Justice is the application of punishment in accordance with the law. Mercy is the with-holding of punishment even when it has been earned by the transgressor.
Thus, we can see that that providing mercy requires God to with-hold or diminish His Justice in the application of punishing sin. Likewise, if ANY sin goes unpaid for the Infinite Justice of God has been diminished (it requires a subtraction from the infiniteness of God, which is logically impossible)...
Part4: However, if the Justice of God in punishing a violation of the law (sin) is placed upon willing substitute the contradiction between Infinite Justice and Infinite Mercy is removed, and God preserves both attributes of His Infinite Nature.
This is why the Bible teaches the substitutionary death of Jesus removed "the debt record that was against us". In addition, the concepts of blood atonement, and redeeming by blood go all the way back to Moses and Abraham...
Part5 So what we have in the Bible, is God make a "covenant" or sworn oath with Abraham, and reafirming it with Moses, upon which it is agreed that redemption and atonement can be made by sacrifice..and then fulfilling BOTH ends of this covenant on the cross. In fact, the former sacrifices were only a "shadow" of the perfect sacrifice of God Himself paying the debt of sin for us, and demonstrating the GLORY of His power, love, mercy, and justice, by an act of sovereign will on the cross
Part6: The cross is not about us, it is about God demonstrating His power and majesty. He fulfilled what we are incapable of doing on our own and thus vindicated Himself as a perfect Almighty Creator.

The real answer to this question isn't in the Bible or even Christian theology. It's to be found in the Ancient Egyptian story of Heru(Horus) and Ausar(Osiris).

I don't think Deedat (or any Muslim apologist) can make through a 10 minute vid without bashing Paul of Tarsus (even in a thinly veiled way). It's an obsession with them.

Many of us never heard of Ahmed Deedat before last year, but have since been exposed to dozens of his videos posted by Islamic apologists. Since his material is still actively promoted by Muslims it's fair game for criticism. It certainly should not be left uncontested, especially since Deedat went out of his way to attack other religions.

I still don't understand why the speaker did not try and defend the using of the name christ. Christ is a Greek word that "jesus" never heard. He tried to explain Saul and Peter but not Christ because he does not have a case at all and the speaker can't explain it.
The area of Palestine was multi-lingual. Jesus certainly would have known Greek. John; the Writer of the Gospel, Epistles and the book of Revelation sure knew Greek and he was Jesus' closest disciple.
Jesus probably didn't teach in Greek. After the conquests of Alexander the Great, Greek was one of the most used languages throughout that particular region.
I can make "such a claim" because it's backed up by historical evidence. Scholars may debate on if Jesus taught in Greek, but certainly but not on "if he knew Greek" - for it is very plain that he would have.

Very good, Deedat's debates where twisted and tricky as to fool the very elect. Good to see a true scholar look into Deedat's claims and debunk him for what he was. If this man where alive at the height of this narrators studies Deedat would have been beaten again. Deedat's arguments are convincing, until you look at his claims under a microscope; it is then you will find many, many, many errors. Deedat is dismissed as a false teacher, or a fool.

And as far as finding the truth... each of these books are out here for each of us to find and open, ourselves, rather than take Deedat's or even White's word for it. It does not really matter whether the topic is debunking Zakir Naik or Amed Deedat. The problem is Islam is not able to answer questions put forward. For example: The entire surah 1 (all 7 verses) is a prayer for guidance. To whom is Allah praying? We see no instruction given to Muhammad to pray this prayer. If the Quran is [inscribed on a Preserved Tablet] from eternity past (Surah 85:21-22), then to whom is this prayer for guidance?

What he tried to do is to bring the Christians back to the right path. Jesus Christ is not God. He is the messenger of God and we believe he was one of the greatest. He is also not the son of God. Altho if we do start to study history we find out that all the prophets were from jacob and that ishmael wasn't really recognised as abrahams son. God is the god of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob. Now do read 1 john chapter 2. It really boils down to this. God makes people holy again by grafting them back into his spirit. The spirit of truth. That spirit has never lived in satan or satan lost it by sinning. But since god cannot sin we can never know if the spirit truly lived in satan.
But it is that spirit which can teach the christian anything he needs to know to stay in gods mercy and have eternal life. If you deny that spirit it is the only unforgivable sin.

The real answer to this question isn't in the Bible or even Christian theology. It's to be found in the Ancient Egyptian story of Heru(Horus) and Ausar(Osiris).
The central component to the AE faith was the belief in the death and resurrection of Osiris and that none may enter heaven save through the son(Heru) of God(Osiris).
Of course the people of Kamet didn't literally believe this but used the story as an allegory for the ascension of the "self".
The Jesus myth is a literal reading.

I still don't understand why the speaker did not try and defend the using of the name christ. Christ is a Greek word that "jesus" never heard. He tried to explain Saul and Peter but not Christ because he does not have a case at all and the speaker can't explain it.

The area of Palestine was multi-lingual. Jesus certainly would have known Greek. John; the Writer of the Gospel, Epistles and the book of Revelation sure knew Greek and he was Jesus' closest disciple.
Jesus probably didn't teach in Greek. After the conquests of Alexander the Great, Greek was one of the most used languages throughout that particular region.

I can make "such a claim" because it's backed up by historical evidence. Scholars may debate on if Jesus taught in Greek, but certainly but not on "if he knew Greek" - for it is very plain that he would have.

i have to disagree that it does NOT make perfect sense that the original hebrew bible should be translated to greek so everyone can understand it.. and that all christians should make an effort to learn the original hebrew language instead.. it may not seem like a big difference but believe me, in the study of linguistics, it is.. hallelujah.. spread the hebrew bible..

When Ahmed Deedat displays his ignorance, since his audience consists of ignorant Muslims, he is admired. So many ignorant YT Muslims parrot his ridiculous assertions about the Bible. He should stick to what he knows best, the book of ignorance (the Qur'an).

Ahmed Deedat was funny because he was a comedian.
He makes people laugh.
Unfortunately the people he debated were too kind and civil instead of ridiculing him for his gross errors and inferences to biblical text.
