May you have food and raiment, a soft pillow for your head; may you be 40 years in heaven, before the devil knows you're dead. Rest in peace, old master
@MrEljay2005 I had no idea that it wasn't able to be shared. I'll remedy that. Sad, sad day for me. Mr. Lumet was one of my all time favorite directors.:(
Up there with Coppola, Scorsese and Spielberg, whoever... didn't he do Fail Safe as well? I'm going to IMDb.. The Matador.. the matador, I am the matador...

Thanks for your insightful comment, they're appreciated. I agree, that scene from 12 Angry Men is one of my favorites because it tells us all how we, as individuals, can help to combat ignorance and bigotry.
I would have loved to make this video longer , add some commentary and include clips from other Lumet movies, but, Youtube's 10 minute limit forced me to choose. So, I chose my 4 favorite Lumet movies.
Sidney Lumet is one of my favourite directors too; it's great to see a film dedicated to some of his greatest movies. I like your choice of scenes, especially the beautifully crafted sequence from 12 Angry Men, but it would have been nice to see some more of his films.
As a film it's nicely put together but I just felt it was crying out for some commentary to bring it all together. Other than that, this is an important film that highlights the work of one of America's greatest filmmakers.
The "Network" segment / speech with Beale was an oddly foreseeable and accurate precursor of what eventually became the Fox News Network.
