She also was the head of her own magazine. Along the way, she gained a reputation for being personable but outspoken so she was selected to be on The View after coming out of "retirement" from TV. I watched that show and Kelly would not let Clay speak and he was sitting there wondering what am I doing here. And just before he covered her mouth, he said something like feel free to tell me when I can say something and Kelly still went ahead and kept asking all the questions.
Either Kelly has no sense of humor or she felt bad because Clay was stealing her show. Let's face it, Clay is a great TV host.
I liked the way Kelly handled it right after it happened. Professionally.

The only thing that makes her (Kelly's view) seem unbelievable is the fact that she has (on numerous occasions) covered REGIS' MOUTH during the show when he is saying something she doens't like! That is the kicker! I believe that Kelly is not homophobic. But the fact that she covered Regis' mouth on camera makes her seem like a hypocrite. She also was the head of her own magazine. Along the way, she gained a reputation for being personable but outspoken so she was selected to be on The View after coming out of "retirement" from TV. But she was definitely playing up the angry lesbian stereotype here.

Sometimes Rosie is just ridiculous. Clay made a faux pas in an attempt to be funny. Hardly the end of the world, but Kelly told him nicely and firmly that it wasn't appreciated. The difference from her putting her hand on Regis's mouth is they work together every day and have established that kind of rapport. Rosie's the only one making a big deal out of it.
