I agree, must individual law enforcement tend to speed for the only reason that they think of themselves as being above the law. However ask yourself in this case who will give a ticket to this trooper when speeding, no one is, because she represents State Law Enforcement with more jurisdiction than City and County Police and Sheriffs.

If you see any law enforcement breaking the speed limit, try to get the plate # or the unit #, report it to their agency Hdqtrs, that officer will be dealt with.

There is just no way to prove your claim of them speeding, so to punish the officer would be the same as a citizen getting punished for speeding without the officer producing radar evidence. As soon as she realized it was another cop, she immediately put her sidearm away. If a citizen did the same thing, they would also have a gun drawn on them. This was not a simply traffic violation. It was reckless driving and fleeing from police - completely different.

It's about time! No one is above the law! I usually drive 75 on the highways (10 mph over the posted limit so I don't get run off the road) and continually see police, and troopers alike, pass me like I'm going backwards. No lights, no sirens, and usually on their cell phone's. That's the way to uphold the laws you're supposed to enforce. What a bunch of hypocrites.
