The problem with Knighthoods is that we've given them away too cheaply. Some have earned them, many haven't IMO. What deserves a knighthood? Being the epitome of your chosen career, or serving your nation or Earth in peerless service. That's how i'd reward them anyway. So, as a Liverpool fan, I would easily reward a knighthood to the greatest footballer the British game has ever seen, Ryan Giggs.

Roy Keane is always talked about as one of the greatest british players to play in the premier league. He's Irish Face! England claim everybody. Giggs is welsh. i think that is a myth the only time Murray is referred to as Scottish is when he said that he didnt want England to win at football (and i know he was only joking), look it makes no difference to me I think the whole union should be dissolved.
