It is a Japanese show, the shooters are Chinese, but not Han Chinese. must be one of those minorities in China.

It is Japanese show, because you can hear Japanses voices explaining what's going on.

and the Japanese voice tells these are Ethnic minority from China.

@simhopp these are called Hmong Cross Bows, they are still used in today in some parts of southeast asia to southwestern china.

I don't think it's a show. It seems to be a traveling troupe from China showing off minority cultures and those end up just about anywhere like museums even within China.

Crossbows weren't meant to be fast.

They're were meant to fire at long ranges with alot of power. Yet, slower compared to a bow.
