The memories I have of this is early '67. I was in Groton, Ct at the time and due to be transferred for assignment ( ended up doing a tour in Vietnam ).

You are correct sir. My mistake. Always liked the remotes shot at amusement parks, piers, beaches, etc. and all in glorious black and white on 'Where The Action Is'. Very enthusiastic audience, but I'm guessing the producers staged those. Regulars included Paul Revere and the Raiders, Steve Alaimo and others. The regular cast of performers kept the pace fast and filled out the show very well.
