gmod isn't a game, it's a tool and what i've done is completely irrelevant when compared with how much garry fails. lest we forget he got his start by getting a copy of JBMod and recompiling the source into his own GMod which was a play on the name of JBMod as he used its source.

I am a programmer and I know that's entirely not true. Copy/pasting code is plagiarism and no self-respecting programmer would do it. What we DO do, however, is reuse our own code for multiple purposes, something garry has never got the grasp of as his code is sloppy and hacky.

You're also quite ignorant claiming gmod is anywhere even near the top of the most popular HL2 mods. CS:S has sold millions, DOD:S millions, L4D millions, gmod: 350,000 or so. You just failed to make a point.

$50 says not only is garry "using" (i prefer stealing) code from valve's source engine (since he has a license) but has also created this "hot-compiling" because he can't code straight forward and has to compile things 50 times before they work (this is evidenced by gmod updates with subsequent updates to fix the previous updates that broke yet more things).
