  • can you purchase one with a small coat of paint? I looked them up on Shapeways and it looked like it was already painted but i just wanted to be sure if they were or not.

  • @idkwdya1 You can order them in colored plastics, but not painted. These are a paint them yourself type figure.

  • Have you any experience with Shapeways Custom hands for Leader Ironhide. The ball and socket joint for the thumb on mine is very loose.

  • @Hennypenny8888 I can't say that I do have experience with that item. I can tell you though that a small bit of superglue or some future floor polish (available at Walmart) put on the joint (not while connected to the figure obviously) will make the joints slightly bigger and make for a tighter fit as a general rule on all toy joints.

  • why is it so small

  • @michael1234252 Because one of the main features of this add on is so that it fits in Soundwaves chest. Fairly limited space in there means the final product is a tad small.

  • @portudork ok thanks

  • were do u get them

  • Very nice sir, can't wait to see the finished product! How long do you expect the paintwork to take?

  • @mantis999999999 Well I have a baby on the way so what I WANT to do and what will actually happen may vary. I am not going to start until I get my missing pieces from Shapeways so I can do both at the same time. Who knows how long that will take. After that my guess would be a couple of weeks. BTW I again apologize for lost comments from you the last day or so. I have learned to leave my videos private until im sure they cut the mustard now :)

  • @portudork No worries! And whenever you do get those bad boys painted I can't wait check them out. Do you do a lot of custom work?

  • @mantis999999999 Link is up there in the info section has the link to the TFW2005 thread as well as the Shapeways store link.

  • I don't mind for the tiny details at all, also, I'm gonna paint them, so the details will show up eventually. So, do you recommend strong & flexible to prevent brokening?

  • @TheWingblade86 I only have experience with the Frosted Ultra Detail but many other have used the Strong and Flexible with good results. If you heat up the FUD in Warm/Hot water and are careful you should have no problems with them in my experience. Hope that helps.
