  • This is so good.... so so so good.

  • what this video IS NOT is crappy! great quality.. thanks

  • Jonny, why are so fucking precious?!

  • cant stop listening to this

  • holy crap, this is pretty good quality compared to the others. thanks so much!

  • que extraordinarios temas que te mandas thom...!!!

  • que extraordinarios temas que te mandas thom...

  • i prefer their live 2006 versions of this song than their in rainbows one.

  • Perfeita...ultimamente ouvindo muito o IR...Amo Radiohead para sempre...Jonny casa comigoooo

  • why the hell have they not been playing this on recent tours? this song is amazing.

  • I think the vid poster should change the title of this vid. the "this is a crappy video" comment probably puts people off looking, which means they'll go watch the chicago performance, which has terrible audio. in my opinion this is the best example of the old DITNU on youtube and it needs to be seen by more people!

  • agreed

  • yup yup

  • terrific

  • lol

  • in rainbows version is fucked

  • love this version. studio and solo piano are great, too, but 2006 live ones are best. more dynamic.

  • I agree, I love all 3 versions but the live ones (especially this one) are a lot more exciting and dynamic.

  • i disagree that this version is better than the studio. this version's beginning is kind of un willing or cautious or shy; the song really kicks in when thom starts playing piano...though johnny playing guitar is nice!! but i consider the studio version much more complete!

  • DITNU out of control Version

I'm lost for words to describe how good this is.

    Thanks for posting.

  • guitars, drums all sounds better than studio version. live it's more dynamic.

  • Those guitar wails are amazing. How did they not get that in the studio? Damn.

  • son geniales¡¡¡¡¡¡ primera vez k veo a jonny en la bateria¡¡¡¡

  • so much better than the studio version.

  • They need to start playing this song live again!

  • Anyone else think DITNU is alot like The National Anthem? Especially when it's played live and they jam over it.

  • this audio quality isnt that bad compared to other live versions of this

  • this is my favourite radiohead song

  • thank you....

  • the BEST radiohead song is always the newest radiohead song - they are all brilliant - one after another...

  • This version of the song sounds better for me than the album version. It has more dynamics and a more pregnant bass. Hope they gonna play it the same way on every concert.

  • i like the creep argument. my favourite album is definitely kid a and my favourite song is kid a no doubt from radiohead but i have to say when thom does the scream in creep i get chills everytime and that doesn't happen with the new stuff as much even though i overall enjoy and respect it more. I think creep is just as great as there new stuff its all music.

  • haha do you think creep is good? u dont know nothing about radiohead fuker noob, foofighter sux and always sux forever

  • jg on drums! :D

    fuck yeah!

  • Maybe you just don't know anything about music man. And maybe you should just shut the fuck up rather than making yourself ridiculous with such nonsense.

Creep is defenitively not one of their best songs.

  • Hey sweetie !

Please enlighten me. Whay's your favorite band? Foo Fighters? oh yeah. A band that will surely be remembered for years as a great contributor to the rock music...

Didn't you ever wondered why there were so many tributes to Radiohead in the music stores? No, probably not.

So please, stop having me laugh. If you can't see what's really good in Radiohead's whole work, just stop spitting at them like that.

  • well at least you confess to knowing jack shit about music. which makes your original comment null and void... which it already kind of was... due to the sheer stupidity of it. I suppose you think van gogh's best work was a stick man hed did when he was 4.

  • no good songs since "creep"? what about "how to disappear completely", "pyramid song", all of ok computer, "a wolf at the door", "knives out", "nude", "where i end and you begin", sit down. stand up", "street spirit", etc. etc.

  • i just had to reply to this. creep is nothing but a commercial song even for them, clearly not their best work. try the bends, ok computer or kid a if you think you can take it. radiohead's magic is in their music's layers. and while not gifted "technically" they are who they are because they are creative as hell and they are not afraid to try something different, if they were we had more commercial songs like creep.

  • My comment was in response the user who said Radiohead hadn't done any good songs since "creep"

  • my bad, my reply was to the foo fighters dude. btw i also like the foo fighters, so nothing against them

  • This song is great. The studio version has the epic string orchestration, but I love this just as much. And to whoever mentioned Thom beatboxing in the beginning--yes, he is!

  • I love how these guys perform in T-shirts and jeans (well phil likes his pin-suits). It's alll about the music, baby; and these cats are masters of it.

  • jonny on the drums!!!! my fav. instrument...u go jonny, u fucking rock those drums....

    this song is perfect...awesome!!!!!

  • What's that big luminous orb behind the piano? It's Phil's head! Haha.

  • i want my in rainbows cd bonus!!! for me in rainbows is a doble cd album this songs had the same quality and concept.

  • this was always my favorite of all the new songs, really cant wait to hear the album version on december 3rd. i've got the feeling that when they release In Rainbows on cd in january it'll be a double album

  • I must have that bonus disc, it doesn't seem like a bonus to me, seems more like the completion of this brilliant album!! B-sides you say? Pearly, Talk Show Host, Polyethelyne (sp?) these songs aren't B-sides in my book.

  • yeah, their b-sides are better than most bands a-sides. they should definitely bring out a b-side collection

  • I think they are b-sides because they dont really fit in with any of the albums, like talk show host came out when OK Computer did and that song would not have mixed in well with the songs on that album

  • Shocking that this did not make the cut for the main album (only available on the bonus disc).

  • isn't the bonus disc available for download on the 10th if you buy the discbox?

  • No...coming out in 10 days...

  • fuck ya man am i ever excited

  • No, comes out December 3rd on the bonus disc.

  • Amazing ! Can't wait to have it from the next LP!

  • I cant wait any more!!! i need that album

  • comes out in march

  • haha i love the Thom dance near the start of the video. The MSG version of this song is one of my favorites. Definitely added to my favorite videos

  • ed sings the lead at the end. i think he does a pretty good job too. i would really like to hear a radiohead song played with ed singing thoms vocals.

  • 1 year on and this song (esp this performance) completely blows me away. I how I wish they could take this exact version into the studio, polish it up and put it on the album.

  • im really hoping they make a live mini album like "i might be wrong: live recordings" including this song and videotape live and dare i say true love waits into EIIRP from last tour? *drools*

  • agreed, jigsaw falling into place(or open pick) sounded amazing too. but my god, this performance of DITNU is just absolutely fucking brilliant. and that jam towards the end... this version really needs to be taken into the studio. are you reading thom!!

  • What a complex and seductive mixture, the depth sound of Ed's guitar, Colin always having conecction with Phil, Jhony with his amazing brain always can do what he wants and of course Thom, ohh thom yorke¡¡ with that sick voice and body movement. Thats Radiohead, a seductive and complex mixture.

  • This song sounds fucking quality, and yeh when its recorded itl be even better.

  • thank you drtchocky. I think im gonna listen all the day that song,(in the new album)..think that the studio version is gonna be just something "Incredible". I can see from this exellent performance

  • i never understood this....is thom beatboxing at the start of the song??

  • this song has grown on me to the point of WTF I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOTHeFUCKING SONG SO MUCH

  • I dont know that the song needed Mr. Greenwood's drum thing. The bass just kind of hangs out to thoes lines.

  • wtf do you know what it needed or didnt shut up and eat it up.

  • i think it would probably prove more effective on the recording...man i cant wait to hear the new album

  • yeah but ed o brien wasn't doing anything either

  • all the weird noises are done by ed

  • yes, all those atmospheric wailing guitar sounds - done by Ed. and who do you think is playing the guitar while Jonny is drumming?

and let's not forget Ed's excellent backing vocals.

Ed's and Thom's voices sound absolutely perfect together!

  • just a bunch of voices

  • Lfunkey you sir, are retarded.

  • you sir, are revealing signs of retardedness far more than i am, by judging me, the one you don't know, instead of what you should be judging- Radiohead; just a bunch of voices and other sound.

  • ....Music, is just a bunch of sounds and voices. Oh no, all music is now crap going by the "logic" or LfunkeyA..OH NO! Radiohead MUSt be crap, this guy said they were...cleaaarly he knows what he's talking about.

.....Disclaimer, radiohead are the greatest band to ever exist, and LfunkeyA needs to be less judgmental, because he doesn't know what he's talking about.

    Enjoy your day.

  • LfunkeyA is a great Radiohead fan, but he is not a biased punk like most Radiohead

'diehard' fans. All music with singing is voices and noise.

  • So...what about music with out singing?

Is that just noise?..with out the voices.

If you want to be REAAALLy pickey about it, you could say that music is just a carefully arranged series of frequencies designed to draw an emotional response from an audience. but..what use is there in knowing that?

Can't we just agree that Radiohead are amazing, and leave it at that.

  • that's fucking right, Ed radiohead's shinest face.

  • greenwood is good drummer

  • Jonny on drums? I like.

  • the most fantasicest song ever.

  • WHAT IS UP, BUTTERCUP?

  • Best Vocal Part ever, thom yorke is so good at vocal parts.

  • wicked song

  • References to Orwell, amputation, contortion, Candid camera? It's about the way we are being consumed by the media, "contorted" news reports "amputation" - what is left out in what we see in the media? "Nothing's gonna happen, without a warning" - Our sense of false security?? Dark lyrics, scary theme, great song, and good audio capture drtchocky

  • yeah. and just the title i read a being being depressed is to be like a free thinking person.. like Winston (1984)

  • i get the impression phil came in at the wrong time in the bridge!

  • its a strange ol one alright..sounds like a manic stone roses or somtin..bit iffey

  • is there anyplace where you have posted ur bootleg, i mean just the sound...because the sound is amazing...?

  • lol this is a strange one! but i like it

  • I usually have to hear a Radiohead song at least twice before it really sticks to me. That one did it the first time, maybe because I could see the performance live.

  • Awesome new song, especially Jonny's little guitar piece.

    Chorus needs reworking I think.

  • the audio is great

  • I just wish they'll bring the new tour to portugal ^^

  • A false start? The fools.

Leave the music industry and never return!

  • toss-pot!

  • Shut up you cunt!

  • It was a joke!

    Seriously... WTF?

  • Aw... sorry then! Peace!

  • Jonny rulez!!!

  • well, the filming is a little jerky but this is the best audio recording I've heard of the song on youtube. it's also my favourite version of DITNU.

  • crappy video? this is great compared to some of the other concert videos! awesome song too. I was at night two of their two-night stand at MSG. They're awesome.

  • This is a perfect title for the new record... I think so...

  • And I thought Arpeggi was the best new Radiohead song - proof RH are still the best live band in the world.

  • Not too bad a video, great bootleg....

Oh and I love this song,
