Damn son...I never heard this before...It gotta be a conspiracy against the ill lyricist ...Big L, Big Pun, Half A Mill. Why can't some of these wack niggaz get knocked off. They only seem to do a year in the box...smdh.
@LordKaseem You forgot my man Stack Bundles...one of the illest lyricists ever...but you got the other three right...Pun, Half, Stack, and Big L are the top 4 NY emcees ever in my opinion...and they all dead...crazy...If just those four were alive the whole game would be different as we speak.
@LordKaseem Big Pun, Half-a-Mill, Stack Bundles, Big L..and even though he considered commercial...Biggie Smalls...that nigga had bars whether he was MTV or not...even though Pun was 2x Plat he was never MTV to me...but i know Biggie would have had some more crazy bars to come...Nas should have kept Half closer...Jim Jones should be gone instead of Stack...and a nigga shouldn't have been able to walk up and shoot Big L in the back of the head.
@canibusnj Yeah for sure i know they both Brooklynites/..but what i meant by that is during them Firm days Nas was the one with the power/pull so he should have had that foresight to see the talent...but i think Nas dont like BK cats and he stays away from dealing with them because he dont trust them...they aggressive and Nas laid back...i dont know how to put it but you get what i mean...I keep that Half a mill and that Bundles shit in the whip..i cant smoke right witout that shit. 1
@MrSlik25 Yes Nas had the power but at the end of the day he's AZ's man and I don't think he can make decisions and or guide somebody without consulting AZ and his approval. Nas is laid back but you can't say he doesn't like BK cats, AZ is from Brooklyn as you already know but they probably get along because AZ is also laid back. Jim Jones IS TRASH, he just has the ability to do SOME good songs and has good business savy. Stacks should still be here AND JIM IS SHIT WITHOUT MAX B! Peace!!!!
Can't thank you enough for this one, SedVicious! I had it for a very short time back in the day off WNYU, probably the same night you were taping too, hahaa! Cheers to all the real heads who stayed up late to get the ill raw shit off the underground radio shows back then. Fast Money and Foreign Objects, how could I forget that title??! This gotta be another joint off Half's 1995 demo tape. Wish someone would press that shit up in good quality already.
Half-A-Mil is one of the dopest rappers that ever came to planest earth ,hands down!!!! R.I.P.
