Saw these guys with Dimmu Borgir in Toronto last December, I've been a fan ever since. Death metal that has clarity to it; brutal at the same time and doesn't sound like fuzzy static. :-)
@SUPERTOUCHOX2 Altered Genesis i believe to be one of their stronger albums, souls of damnation and come death are pretty similar in all regards, same vocalist, same rigg it seems and same song structures roughly. I think it was mr. hustler who sang on Altered Genesis and albums previous to that, if so then i think he is my prefered vocalist.
This one seems really good. Its like they re back to where they left Altered Genesis. You should really get that one, it stands out amongst most death metal.
Would advise you to get "Rise to dominate" with Aeon too.
@SUPERTOUCHOX2 personally: when i find a new band - i like to start from the earliest & work my way forward so i can hear their progression & appreciate any new talent that emerges through each album. I've been a fan of blood red throne for a while now but this album seems to pick up where Decapitated's "Negations" left off , for obvious reasons. There's been a hole in my heart since that album but since "Souls of Damnation" - I'm reminded of a time when Decapitated had the original line-up! RIP

Behemoth? How do you compare this 2 Behemoth I don't know. And to Nile I don't know either. But I agree they are awesome. Best album (Of the ones I heard) in 2009
your right, its two different genres of death. This is more trash and groovy inspired. its more downtempo in its punches \m/ im in love with Nile, but Behemoth never caught me :(
