You can. But to get to Ryan's level, you need a passion for it. Watch the movie "A Pixar Story" on netflix or somewhere else if you can. It's very inspirational and it shows that you truly need a drive to become an animator. Did you know that the game Dante's Inferno was made with 60 frames per second? That's mind boggling.
Google "Ryan Woodward Book" and its the first page. I got to look through it at CTN and I really regret not buying it! Really nice figure drawing technique!
fabulous! Just an advice... be careful with the hair remember the weight, gravity and the force of the movements, the should be constant!!!... I lovet so much :)
I love all of your works. I cried when I saw thought of you and just seeing something like this pushes me to try a lot harder in my studies in animation.
Wow! Really fluid. I love your works. I can't imagine myself animating that in photoshop or flash. Maybe TVP Animation but I have no idea how to use that program...
have you considered removing the trails with those movements?
They seem to be more suitable for graceful movement like the ones in your Martha Graham tribute animation.
To me, they seem rather out of place in a fast-paced place/sport like baseball. Trails in itself seem to be suitable, just not the almost liquid-like trails you have used in this one and the Martha Graham tribute animation.
love it love it love it! :D
