You're wrong, after 5200 RPM the Zetec S loses more power when you're getting to 6K then shifting...

there is no point in going further then 5200 =/

well thats just depressing! I'm just about to convert my fiesta back to a 1.25 from a 1.7 and i can't remember it being THAT slow lol....

come on, my 1.25 freestyle 02 model can out do that, i clocked about, 12.6 ish 0-60 mph, though, that said I drive mine sensibly most of time

I saw few cars luike yours, they was accelerating in about 10-11s to 100kph. Stock cars. Mine 1.4 16V Fiesta wasn't much slower

@woytek13 It's broken! The 1.25 was a fantastic engine and faster than the 1.3 it replaced. More power too. The 1.25 should do a 0-60 in 10s, so this one taking 18s means the engine is stuffed.
