I am proud that I am not american. Coca cola, McDonalds, Bush, and fatass americans who care only about their money and make war everywhere, kills innocent people by bombing and e.t.c
yeah thats why everyone cries to us to save them cause most of the world are useless bastards. what the world doesn't realise is WE own the world, we just let useless pricks like you think we don't. why does everyone wanna come here? when's the last time you heard of anyone wanting to go to the middle east for a better life dickhead.
we greeks have also an ancient ritual still practiced today similar to yours... we walk on hot coals for about 3 to 4 meters, (without getting burned) why do you jump over a fire???
it has to do with our zoroastrian fate. Fire is a symbol of purity, light, clean, warming and overwins the evil dark, brings people together. Something like that, I,m not an expert :D. People jump over the fire before Iranian new year so that they purify themselves begore new year, the fire catches the evil and gives the good. Its symbolic ;)
Wow - those ancient megalithic monuments and sculptures are reminiscent of egyptian artistry, and some of those wood panel paintings are like japanese woodblock prints or even the early renaissance works of the likes of giotto. The greek influence (or, more likely, influence upon) is readily evident as well. A reminder of the wonderful spirit that flows through all of mankind and indeed the universe. Come Together... Right Now !
The Beauty and truly ancient history of Iran combine in my blood to rouse and call me to a homeland that belonged to my forefathers. I remember this land of my beloved ancestors only, through the books, music, food, grandparents and now this video that belong to it.
As I wipe tear from my eye I thank you for the reminder of who we are and where we come from.
Salaam U'alaek, vah, Bahleh Farsi Harf mezan'am. But no I have never been back, yet....
I will someday, but that doesn't diminish my love and regard for the land of my ancestors. My bonds to Iran are a part of every drop of blood in my body.
