Scar was almost pure evil. Not mad at all, he was completely aware of what he was doing, and showed no remorse for any of it.

Zira is insane. She loved and idolized Scar, and when he died, she needed to blame somebody. So in her madness, Simba killed Scar.

Nuka wasn't really evil, he just wanted some motherly attention. He didn't really deserve what he got. He was also jealous at Kovu for being allowed to become king when it was Nuka who was Scars son, not Kovu.

@Darkmaker443 Scar wasn't pure evil if you think about it. Scar was mainly just spoiled and was just a lousy ruler, but his hyenas did most of the work, when he only killed Mufasa. Scar;s song was about the hyenas doing the dirty work to gain something and Zira, her song was about how death and suffering is music to her ears.

Zira was like a war leader and actually tried killing. She was brutal even struck her own son. Scar killed by simply tossing his brother over the cliff.

@camstudio7 Actually, no, Scar had completely valid reasons for becoming what he did. His own father gave him the scar across his face and obviously favoured Mufasa over Scar. Scar was told he would never amount to anything, so he decided that he'd show the world what he could do.

This made the sequal a bit complicated, they had to reasure the audience several times that kovu was not scars son so kovu and kiara wouldnt have an insestues relationship.
