It's funny, because when Americans or American government tell Irishmen or Englishmen what kind of politics they should adopt-- the reaction is angry and quick, that they should just shut up. Especially if it's a united Ireland, an independent Wales, etc. being discussed.

@jbledsoe86 we have socialized health care here in norway. no matter what happens to you, you can go to the hospital and get fixed up without going bankrupt. only thing we unfortunantly don't get covered is dental care, but I'm sure we'll get there.

Our national debt has passed 14 trillion dollars. Corporatism runs amok. But healthcare was passed! Yay! Another 30 million customers for insurance companies, as required by law. And if you can't afford it, the state will pay it for you. Did I mention corporatism running amok?
@Timmosanders I'm fully aware of the greed and corruption among the ruling elite. The military industrial complex has decided policies for years and will continue to do so. I don't like Obama either, or many politicians for that matter, but I have to concede that healthcare was the only decent thing done by a politician in recent years.
