My goodness what is this guy on? Doesn't he realise that these images are taken via satellite that uses a complex series of filters constantly changing? The filter that sometimes appear in front of the sun means just that. This are time lapse sequences where sets of filters are used to protect the imaging CCD. These are physically moved for each frame. Sometimes a filter is part way across the image as the pic is being taken.
Try googling 'retrograde motion'. The satellite taking the picture is also in orbit and the moon only appears to be going backwards because it is being overtaken by the satellite.

@walkeremtjamin because it moves in and out of the camera's focal point in less than 2 minutes for starters, then of course their is the complete change in trajectory from top to bottom or vice/versa. what light that does reflect off it suggests to me that it is possibly metalic
given the image quality of the actual sun-image vs the "object in front" it looks like a wrongly-focused photoshop job. Seriously something needs to be either further out of focus & safely far from us, or very close in focus - as photons will experience diffraction - and therefore so close to us that it would be right on top of this.

@walkeremtjamin because it moves in and out of the camera's focal point in less than 2 minutes for starters, then of course their is the complete change in trajectory from top to bottom or vice/versa. what light that does reflect off it suggests to me that it is possibly metalic

given the image quality of the actual sun-image vs the "object in front" it looks like a wrongly-focused photoshop job. Seriously something needs to be either further out of focus & safely far from us, or very close in focus - as photons will experience diffraction - and therefore so close to us that it would be right on top of this.
I consider this "orbiting object" debunked
