Im a 32 year old male and my health has been rapidly going downhill to the point that my back and body ached and i had to be helped up when i woke up.they tested me for low testosterone and my doctor was actually shocked when he seen my count was 28 and supposed to be 750.he told me that i was 95 years old..this gel is helping but i recommend getting shots instead...this stuff is so sticky that shirts will actually leave there color stuck to your shoulders...any questions on this stuff write me

@HALOCN9A The gel doesn't transfer that easily from person to person and when it does, it's such a minute amount that any changes would be unnoticable.unless someone applies it directly to the kid. The FDA has too much time on their hands!

LOL... you're right about the nuts... They currently cost me $600.00 per month in spousal support.

I love the gel, and people are always asking me where I bought the cologne, as it has a very pleasant and distinctive smell to it once it dries.

XXY's do have 'nuts' they're just so small they're better described as 'raisins' :) I checked an NZ drug book today, finally the Patch is available here, but not subsidised, but the Gel is still nowhere to be seen, not even on the horizon. How much does the Gel you take cost and how does that cost compare to AndroGel?

We were at Walmart last night buying a juicer, and the salesgirl aksed me what kind of cologne I had on. I get that all the time with Testim.. Girls love the smell. I pay 10 dollars a month since my insurance covers it, otherwise, it would be about 200. Testim is the "new kid on the block" and the guys I've talked to much prefer it over androgel. I just rub it into my shoulders and upper arms after my morning shower, and within 2 hours I feel MUCH more energized and ready to conquer the world.

I've read what these wonderful people at the FDA have to say about Testim and AndroGel and they're pretty neutral, which I'd expect. :) They have nothing negative to say about either. The only down side of taking he Gel is that is has to be taken every day, which to me would be a drag. I know I'd forget. I've had capsules, pellets and injections, and I think the injections are the best to date as it's a once a week routine thing, a high dose is maintained, I don't have mood fluctuations.

A standard dose is one tube(50mg)......there is NO WAY that aberrational,skin-to-skin contact is going to transmit enough testosterone to enlarge the penis of a squirrel, let alone a child, and you KNOW it. @41elliott I can't imagine the FDA making a video warning of the dangers of skin to skin contact after the application of T Gel on the basis of unsubstantiated claims by paranoid people. Children are susceptible to very low doses of sex hormone, we all know that as at puberty the changes seen early on are not the result of high levels but minute levels of sex hormone. Also the leeching of certain toxins from foods cooked in plastic containers, that mimic estrogen, regularly occur.

Incidental contact with a minute amount of testosterone (i.e. residue) has NEVER been shown to have adverse effects, unless large quantities are tranasmitted. This video was posted by a firm that MAKES MONEY by assisting people with locating attorneys for the purposes of frivilous lawsuits.

Furthermore, the FDA issues warnings like this purely for CYA purposes. Using your logic, the doses I take should have enabled me to win Mr. Olympia... or be prosecuted for roid rage at a bingo game.

My logic? I'm referencing AndroGel's own website, the FDA's recommendations, 34 years of taking testosterone myself, extensive studies on Testosterone and it's effects and adverse effects. "Roid Rage" is an urban myth. Testosterone is a very powerful hormone that can have undesirable adverse effects in children inadvertently exposed to it, and to be sensible with the product around children is a very logical thing to do. This video is informative whatever the perceived or actual reasons for it.

"Roid rage", as well as the 'olympia' comment was an OBVIOUSLY sarcastic comment, and Testim, as well as Androgel issue these warnings for CYA.

The bottom line: lawsuitguru is looking for a buck. Pure and simple. I've been in this game toooo long, and I'm well-versed on hormonal thearapies. You can't show me ONE documented case of a child incurring adverse effects from Testim residue.... NOT ONE.

When lawyers get involved we all suffer, and you may LOSE your Androgel because of it.

The bottom line for me it that the very same video is on the Official FDA's YouTube channel, I just watched it, and it's identical to this one. The FDA does have the concerns this video represents, and I suggest you take your argument to them as I think this is a sensible video posted for honorable reasons. I also agree with the topic expressed.

@1Rogue1Kiwi It's interesting to note, as marius mentioned above, that many WOMEN are taking this as part of a transgender regimen. There are several videos here on Y.T. where women chronical their use.

I just don't want the FDA to ban it: The benefits of Testim have been great for me, and at 47, I'm in better shape than I was at 20.

I can understand concerns like that. A great many XXY men were denied for 10 years the opportunity to get the best testicular prostheses whilst the FDA investigated their so-called association with cancer in women who had Gel-Filled Silicone Breast Implants. And after 10 years they were deemed safe, although still available everywhere else in the world! So the FDA can be over cautious, on the other hand there is no suggestion these products are unsafe, it's just a timely warning.

At age 45, I went to the doctor and discovered low testosterone levels. Just a curse of aging. The testim has been a huge boost to me, both in the gym and out. Right now I'm experimenting with different application sites and doses.

On my channel ChromosomesXXY I have a series of videos to a fellow called Matthew, he did what he thinks was experimenting with AndroGel, but in effect what he really did was underdose himself then blame the effects he got on AndroGel, his justification for not taking testosterone, which is down right crazy, since he wouldn't have been prescribed it in the first place if h didn't need it. Now you seem like a much smarter person but still, please don't do anything without your Drs involvement.

@1Rogue1Kiwi I get blood tests every month and my doctor has advised me to vary the doses and areas, as T receptor sites can become saturated. In fact, I actually take a few days off each month.

My doctor is a huge proponent of "feel", and she's always asking me how I feel in conjunction with my doses and application sites. Of course, she also has data from the tests to look at as well.

By the way, keep this stuff off your nuts.... there are DHT receptor sites there and the T gets converted.

Yes, my Endo is really into how I feel too, he's always been like that even since I first met him 35 years ago. It took a year to determine I was XXY, was androgen deficient and was in need of therapy. Back then there were no Patches or Gels, it was Injection, Pellets or Capsules. Fancy that it's still the same today in NZ, no Gel no Patches. I stumbled across this conversation whilst researching Gels to put in my videos. Also, I don't have 'nuts', they're worthless appendages. :)
