I don't know why people hated this album so much, it's awesome. This is honestly--in my opinion--one of their best songs. It invokes so much emotion. And, I don't know, they aren't worried about shredding in this song. Only shred when it calls for it. Anyone can play fast, but showing this kind of restraint to make a song come off the right way is what separates the true musicians from those who are just doing it for fame and attention.

Amen! I also believe this is one of their best songs. Most of their stuff is shreddulicious eargasmic stuff, which I love, but this is one of their few songs that actually invokes emotion. It is for this reason that this song is one of my very favorites from them.

@HecateEnthroned666 Haha absolutely! And the solo is definitely sexy, but to me, I don't think it transitions well. The individual runs are cool, just not well connected, in my opinion. But it's definitely fun to play anyway =P

My favorite solos from COB are probably Kissing the Shadows (GODLY!!) and Follow The Reaper (can you tell I like the Follow the Reaper album? =P).

AYDY is probably their thrashiest album and Bloddrunk is the second one which is fine but people prefer their older sound thats just how it is. for me AYDY is awesome but it pales in comparison to songs such as Taste Of My Scythe
