@chstrumpetdude get a pfanstiehl p-51 cartridge $25 plus shippng from garage a records, search for it and select the 78rpm only version hook it up and there you go. It'll work just fine with the old tonearm and won't grind down 78's like using a pin will.
what you could do if you want to use the original tonearm is to buy a "rolette" cristal flipover cartridge for it. rollette cartridges is still made (i think) and you can order them online for farly cheap and they have no problems with heavy tracking tonearms they usuly coms with a 78 stylus on one side and a 33/45 stylus on the other side.
I saw that website while looking for info for my rca 45 player and was tempted to get more information. Maybe when i get enough money to buy one i'll get the cartridge. Be sure to check my channel for the first vid of this unit
