I have been impressed with kelly since her first AI audition and never stopped being amazed at her talent since! I've never beeen so partial to any artist in my life as I am with Kelly, This song is probably one of my most favorite performances by Kelly Clarkson ever! She has the gift of tone, range, and phrasing. Those fake barbie country singers would be forgotten. A truly amazing performance! Although Kelly does lots of cool stuff adding all those riffs in the song, I need Reba's version when I'm just listening to it on my iPod and not watching anything. I love the angst but like you said she's a human, and she has UPS, but she hasn't shown them in a while. We are human full of happy AND sad emotions. It's much easier to write an angsty song than a happy one. She can mix it up. She does it all so well. Look how hot she is in this performance. Want some of that in her own material.
