apparently you have not only great taste in cars, but great taste in films, too. nice tune from Amelie, a great movie. Great looking '67! I have one too. Not quite as nice but pretty darn mint and all orig. Great vids. Keep 'em coming!
@mrprufrock101 Thanks! Could be the reason why I was an indie filmmaker for ten years. haha Wrote, directed, and produced my own films. Crazy. But reality set in after the fact.
same man, i have 205's in the back, and 185 in the front, and the front ones are PERFECT, they seem part of the tire, but the back ones are crooked.
And by the comment, bugs being different here and there, its because mexican bugs, till 1969, still have the front headlights porsche like, not the newer ones... in fact, not until 1970 they started to come that way, and its hard to find a 1970 bug because of that peculiarity.
chris, thats the first crooked white wall insert/portawall ive seen in one of your bugs, im a bit dissapointed, your all about perfection. But i know those bad boys are tough to fit perfectly, mine have the same problem. great freaking bug.
ps: I have noticed that bugs made in the states, and bugs made in mexico are COMPLETELYYYYYY different, they do not share the same parts.
I know I am on it. When we had them installed they were flat, once I started to drive it they were bubbling a bit, and I noticed once I got to shooting location they were out a bit. it is only the rear tires too, the bigger 205s. They will be fixed, no worries there.
OMG !!! How fantastic. Mine was a 1952 split rear window with sunroof. I changed colour from Chocolate Brown to Red in 1958. The first Red I ever saw. Folk loved it. Seeing this vid today tells me I'm still in love with mine, even after 50 years. Thanks for the memory.
