The "she" is jesus. The song is about jesus rising from the dead and carrying on through it all. "Chimes sing sunday morn" = Easter Sunday (the riff is like bells). "To steal what she never could own" (= eternal life) and "race...from this hole she comes home" (hole = cave and home = heaven). It's all in the bible and the Roses lift a lot of imagery from this.
