Im a Liverpool fan, and I have the sense to realize that History really counts for nothing, its what you're doing now... History might attract some players, but nothing attracts them more that offering trophies, something Chelsea can do ( I dont mean Carling Cup, don't know why our fans are so over the moon to be in the Final )... The fact is the Torres we had half of the season out of form has scored 8 goals for Liverpool than what he managed at Chelsea which took him almost 1 complete season to make up.

@belnat LFC were the first ones if you do research, Yh the song you call shit is the reason behind why some players love to play at Anfield because of the atmosphere generated by just singing this song.Makes the hairs of a person's neck stand up. @belnat Na mate it was Liverpool type "You'll Never Walk Alone" on Google and click on the Wikipedia page. The atmosphere will be back when we get back to the Champions league, because that brings fans across the globe closer to Liverpool as we play all around Europe, but to be honest even right now when I hear the fans sing it such as when Kenny came back to management in the first game at Anfield vs Everton, the atmosphere was sensational.

@belnat Yes I know Chelsea has their own songs and so do many clubs but few to several clubs have had You'll Never Walk Alone after Liverpool did. Torres was better at Liverpool out of form than at Chelsea. Kenny almost got the lad back to full form the way he started scoring many goals. The fact is the Torres we had half of the season out of form has scored 8 goals for Liverpool than what he managed at Chelsea which took him almost 1 complete season to make up.

@belnat Also to note down that Torres scored all 8 goals for Liverpool in the EPL only whereas for Chelsea his only scored 3 times in the league and 9 times in total if you include all competitions. The lad didn't give the Suarez combination a chance and so if he did then the Torres we knew a season before or 2 seasons ago would've been thriving. Just imagine Suarez and Torres.

Not only were you gailing to bring in players of his standard's your world class players were leaving like Alonso, Mascerano even Arbeloa to a lesser extend, even Reina was refusing to rule out leaving back then, can he really be blamed? Apart from Bayern Munich there was not one top euro team he could have gone to without upseting you lot or Leti fans, and Atletico do come first for Torres.

@1991tomwarren Look, I don't blame Torres for leaving it was best for him and I don't hate the lad I still have respect for him.The problem was our club was in the hands of 2 cowboys who gave our club debt almost at the brink of going into administration.The owners only cared about the business and not the fans.Torres has undoubtedly made the wrong decision of his career to join Chelsea.I don't have to say this because the way he plays just shows it.

@PBL187 The lad unfortunately rushed his decision and Chelsea doesn't suit him at all they lack creativity and have many old players that need to be replaced.It's a team under transition.The way they play doesn't show signs of them winning any trophies soon and if you look at Liverpool they have settled into the new look fast and play great football compared to Chelsea.When I look at Torres's face, he looks like a guy with regrets and will further regret when Liverpool rack up cups under Kenny.
