well what I meant was a mixture of both . I didn't meant to fully spoon-feed someone a tab, but you know with learning all things it sometimes is more efficient to have a tab and learn by ear as a mixture. which is a balance everyone has to find for themselves? I agree though, playing by ear is king without a doubt.

On another note can I ask what fret his capo is on? Cause i'm getting some really whack sounds for mine (capo abit dodged perhaps?) just checking .. thanks

some of us such as myself are new to guitar, it would be economically inefficient to sit here for hours to try and figure out what he's playing. I have tried for his wish video, we do need some help? While i agree we should try and learn by ear ourselves, like all beginners we need some help. Hence why some of us need tabs! not because we're lazy but we lack the skill! Hope you can learn to understand.

actually if you sat here for numerous hours trying to figure out what he was playing then you would actually get VERY VERY good a guitar. Because now not only will you be able to play the song but you will have more experience and skill with learning songs by ear. The more time and effort you commit to guitar the better you'll be.
