I think we have the most talented team in football at least for the upcoming year but if you look at the schedule you will see how difficult that will be. I agree about both of our losses last year though. We start off each season extremely slow and really against Tennessee we seemed to not even care. What really blows is how Ohio State, assuming they only lose to USC, will more than likely be back in the big game. Their schedule continues to be weak so let's hope they pull a West Virginia
I know. I hate Ohio State. They play the weakest schedule in College Football. Georgia has the talent, but it it so hard to get out of the SEC with one or no losses that it will be tough for them. If anybody in the SEC can do it, though, it's them. As a War Eagle, I can proudly say that we lost to ya'll and not Alabama.
Now that I think of it there is one big reason I have to remind myself not to hate Auburn as much. You guys own Florida. Something about that matchup I guess. Anyone who was at that game knows how loud it got in there when the whole bench started dancing. It was deafening. Yeah, it's crunk as hell but we love it because it gets everybody fired up. I'll point to the Ole Miss game; After Miss tied it up at 17 in the 3rd, we did soulja boy during the timeout. After that we scored 4 unanswered TD's. Not saying that's all due to the song but it definitely helped.

I have been to every stadium in the SEC, and I have never been treated as poorly as I was at UGA. We were trying to stay until the end of the game to support our guys, even though we were getting killed by 25 points, and still EVERY single Georgia fan that passed by had something to yell at us or throw at us. It's pretty bad when your fans are ten times worse than those at LSU. Good job, Georgia.
I have been there when UGA has lost, and not only were the AU fans all crass after the loss two yrs ago at home, (look up the arrests of au kids downtown that night---the worst was the kid that streaked down clayton bc the cops had to tackle him)... but a few yrs before that when i was in undergrad it was au kids that tore up the hedges. uga fans are drunk and obnoxious, that is true, but i don't think anyone can say that au fans are angels.
Yeah, gonna have to agree 3 AU fans were taken away by the GBI in my section because they tried to start a fight with a UGA fan 3 rows in front of them who hadn't said a thing all night. My comments were not only about the " fun" and "dancing". I also refer to the "end zone party" at the UGA/FL game, the "logo stomping" at Vandy, the fans' cursing in the stands, rampant poor treatment of opponents' fans, and the throwing of full bottles and cups onto opponents' bands and fans. Sadly, all of these things combined expose UGA for what it has become. I was a big supporter of UGA until now.

The difference is that most coaches don't allow or encourage disrespectful behavior by their players. When you allow your players to behave that way then it encourages elevated poor sportsmanship from fans as well. I just hope things get back to normal at UGA soon. I always respected Mark Richt until this year. I hope to be able to respect him and the UGA program again in the future.

I think we have the most talented team in football at least for the upcoming year but if you look at the schedule you will see how difficult that will be. I agree about both of our losses last year though. We start off each season extremely slow and really against Tennessee we seemed to not even care. What really blows is how Ohio State, assuming they only lose to USC, will more than likely be back in the big game. Their schedule continues to be weak so let's hope they pull a West Virginia

I know. I hate Ohio State. They play the weakest schedule in College Football. Georgia has the talent, but it it so hard to get out of the SEC with one or no losses that it will be tough for them. If anybody in the SEC can do it, though, it's them. As a War Eagle, I can proudly say that we lost to ya'll and not Alabama.

Now that I think of it there is one big reason I have to remind myself not to hate Auburn as much. You guys own Florida. Something about that matchup I guess. I'm not that familiar with Alabama really. I've always thought Georgia Alabama games were fun to watch but we don't play them all too often like we do Auburn. I went to Georgia for my first two semesters and then transfered up north. I agree that the school is not difficult but instead simply has high demand for enrollment due to local scholarships. Anyone who was at that game knows how loud it got in there when the whole bench started dancing. It was deafening. Yeah, it's crunk as hell but we love it because it gets everybody fired up. I'll point to the Ole Miss game; After Miss tied it up at 17 in the 3rd, we did soulja boy during the timeout. After that we scored 4 unanswered TD's. Not saying that's all due to the song but it definitely helped.

The entire SEC is full of excellent athletes that can beat any other team in the country on any given Saturday. Take away a 16-12 loss to the cocks and the Dawgs are sitting at #2 - even after getting thumped by the Vols. Face the facts - when you beat Fla and Auburn in the same year - it's a pretty good year. I have been to every stadium in the SEC, and I have never been treated as poorly as I was at UGA. We were trying to stay until the end of the game to support our guys, even though we were getting killed by 25 points, and still EVERY single Georgia fan that passed by had something to yell at us or throw at us. I have been there when UGA has lost, and not only were the AU fans all crass after the loss two yrs ago at home, (look up the arrests of au kids downtown that night---the worst was the kid that streaked down clayton bc the cops had to tackle him)... but a few yrs before that when i was in undergrad it was au kids that tore up the hedges. uga fans are drunk and obnoxious, that is true, but i don't think anyone can say that au fans are angels.

I also refer to the "end zone party" at the UGA/FL game, the "logo stomping" at Vandy, the fans' cursing in the stands, rampant poor treatment of opponents' fans, and the throwing of full bottles and cups onto opponents' bands and fans. I didn't say I hated anyone. What a shame you read that in to what I said. I said I'm sorry this has happened to a great school. It is my opinion and I have a right to it. I don't "hate" anyone or anything. I just don't approve of bad behavior.

I dont know if you are new to sports or what, but I can assure you that there are fans for EVERY team of EVERY sport that are rude to opposing teams. as for the throwing of drinks, welcome to college. i dont condone it, but people get drunk/excited/mad. it happened to us at alabama. it happens all around the sec.

I'm not new to sports at all. I'm 36 years old and an avid football fan. I've been to over 50 college football games. I've seen bad sportsmanship before. I simply feel that UGA has crossed a line this year. I know everyone has bad fans. Continued....

The difference is that most coaches don't allow or encourage disrespectful behavior by their players. When you allow your players to behave that way then it encourages elevated poor sportsmanship from fans as well. I just hope things get back to normal at UGA soon. I always respected Mark Richt until this year. I hope to be able to respect him and the UGA program again in the future.

Oh and by the way, I thought the blackout was great. Great idea, great effect. It showed no disrespect and I loved it.

Wow, I'd say talking about Mark Richt is clossing the line... He's the reason the black out was possible, he's the reason we are playing great this year, he has been firing up the players better than any other coach in the sec

Is the University of Wisconsin a thug school because they play "Jump Around" and everyone in the stands does the same kind of stuff that now happens in Athens? What exactly qualifies as bad behavior? Is it the hip-hop music? Are you a racist? Are you scared of change? I say, if it gets both the crowd and the team involved in something together, then it's got to be good for the morale of the whole Bulldog Nation.

Are you seriously upset because people are having FUN listening to music and enjoying being at a football game? Im sorry you have to live your life with such a narrow mindset. I have no idea where you are getting this idea that the fans are classless. I mean maybe its because we wore black right? I mean heaven forbid you change it up a little. And heaven forbid you wear BLACK. ITS A COLOR PEOPLE. please freak out less about college football.

I'd like to know why everyone is hating on my school's team because we like to dance and have FUN at football games---isn't that what playing football is all about? FUN? These guys don't get paid to play football. They do it because it's what they love. And if playing a song to let them dance to gets them fired up to win, then who's to say that's classless? It helps them win games, straight up.

Since when did doing a dance make you a thug. Is it because the artist singing the song is black? That is stupid for yall to hate on the dawgs for havin fun and try and link them to the idiots in miami who get shot and steal cars. Uga athletes may get drunk and do some stupid stuff but they stay alive and don't commit felonies on a regular basis. Stop hatin cause them dawgs are running through their opponents now.
